I placed a " Take away " order 12/17/23, the order was to be ready at 4:54 p.m. When I arrived I parked in parking spot 3 which is in front of the take away door. I texted the store that I was in parking spot 3. While waiting for my order I noticed 4 bags of take away orders sitting on the shelves. I said to my son jokingly I hope that's not one of our bags. one by one the bags were picked up. Not one person came out to greet us or to bring a copy of the receipt or even to have me sign the receipt as they have done in the past. We sat there for 10 minutes, an employee walked past us and came back to inquire if we have been helped yet, I told the employee no and they went in and checked on my order. The whole time the one lonely bag was still sitting on the shelf. The employee came back and said the order was being working on. I then noticed a different employee move the bag out of my view then walk back to the kitchen and returned with one of the small brown bags with a loaf of bread. The employee then came out of the store with my order. I had been waiting at that point for 30 minutes. I then went through the bag and found an item missing. I informed the employee that gave me my order that the item was missing, after another 5 minutes the employee returned with the missing item. I was at the restaurant for 35 minutes in total waiting on my order. I prepaid on line and left a tip in hopes to receive good service. I live 7 minutes from the store, once we got home the food was cold to the touch, we reheated out meals. While we dug in to our meals it became apparent that out of the 4 meals I ordered the 2 with steak were horrible so we ended up feeding it to our dogs. Read moreWe last dinned here on my daughter’s 14th birthday. She turned 30 last September. Our previous visit was not a good one, let’s hope this one is better. Our server was polite and friendly. My wife ordered Orange Juice, and it was rancid. Our server came back and changed it for a Coke. Our Blooming Onion came out before our Mushrooms. It looked overcooked. It was hot and juicy but had an awful old oil after taste. We let our server know and the person that brought out our mushrooms. The mushrooms were hot and juicy. Probably the best part of our meal. The salad came out 25 minutes after we ordered. It was also very good. The Blue Cheese was outstanding but very sparse. It took quite a while for our steaks to come out. I ordered my steak medium-rare, and it was cold and purple in the center. I ate the sweet potato waiting for our server to come back. My wife finished her meal, and finally, our server came back. I let her know the steak was cold and raw in the center. She asked did I want it put back on the grill. I said yes and not to burn the outside. A cook finally brought out my steak and said, I guess this is for you. The steak was better, but by the time it came out again, I was ready to go. I asked them to just box it up. A manager never came by to check on us, and even though we complained about the Blooming Onion to two people, it was still full price even though we did not eat 1/10th of it. I used to enjoy Outback Steakhouse in Providence and went there every Sunday. This Outback leaves a lot to be desired, and maybe I will be back in another 15 or 16 years. From the moment we were seated, TJ made us feel right at home with his warm and welcoming attitude. He had such a friendly demeanor and was genuinely invested in making sure we had a great time.
What stood out the most was his attention to detail. He was quick to recommend dishes when we asked for suggestions, and they were spot on! TJ has a great knowledge of the menu and even gave us some tips on how to customize our meals to suit our preferences. Throughout the meal, he consistently checked in with us at just the right moments, making sure our drinks were always filled and that we had everything we needed, all without being intrusive.
On top of that, TJ went above and beyond to make my family feel special, engaging with us in a fun, light-hearted way that really added a personal touch to our dining experience. He made sure our food arrived in a timely manner, and everything was perfectly prepared, but it was his genuine care and excellent service that really made the night unforgettable.
