I had the worst experience ever I came in with my family for my father's birthday we had to wait almost an hour for the food not sure why because when we got our food it was terrible my father's steak was very pink rubbery he couldn't chew it he asked for extra well done my mother's bacon on her BLT was hard couldn't eat it almost burnt she ordered a side of the fruit French toast and they brought her two big slices of the French toast on top of each other and the egg on it was burnt to a crisp terrible I ordered the Philly cheese steak with fries the fries were overcooked and the steak again was barely cooked I asked for extra well done on the steak it was slimy everything was gross the waiter waitress was amazing she did a great job I asked for the manager to talk to her about the food she comes over she's an older lady and my mom was trying to explain to her that we're not eating this food it is very bad the steak is undercooked the Bacon's hard the French toast was overcooked we showed her everything she goes and comes back and says okay no problem I'll give you 20% off your order my mom asked her if she could just remake her food and she says the best I can do is 20% off your total bill very upsetting my mom wanted to cry it was supposed to be my dad's birthday which he loves going to IHOP for breakfast it's tradition on his birthday another waitress overheard what was going on and she came and said call tomorrow and speak with the other manager which is a man so I did I called tried to speak with the mail manager and this miniature got on the phone that we spoke to yesterday and she says oh no I didn't you never asked to remake your food I was very upset and livid when we clearly asked her to please remake the food so she puts me on hold comes back and says well the other manager is busy right now but he what is your phone number and he will call you back I just told her forget it he's never going to call me back because she's not going to tell him she don't want to get in trouble so I'm calling corporate on Monday this is...
Read moreI order a pick up through Uber eats and my Bf picked up the food. When I received the food, the tres leche pancakes didn't have the tres leches and the omelette I order with no mushrooms or sauce plus avacado, came with mushrooms and sauce, and old brown avacado that were unappealing. I had to call TWICE. Because no one picked up the 1st time.we spoke to a nice lady and she said to come back they will fix it. The second meal "corrected" came back STILL INCORRECT... 😒 This time, they put way more tres leche than it needed and the omelette only had cheese and spinach. No tomatoes or onions...
I literally spoke to the nice lady in the phone and explained what I wanted. My bf told me they weren't busy and everyone was in BOH. I work for restaurants before and trained. So not only is this a mayor inconvenience, I am annoyed because I had to wait 2 hours to eat and still could not enjoy my food. To top it off the whole order between two meals came up to $54 and some change.
Who would want to spend their hard earned money in a place that plays with your food???? I even tried to make it work at home, but end up throwing away everything. Like 🤢 eww.
I won't recommend anyone order from here. Reading and active listening is fundamental, even for restaurants. If they can screwed up twice, I don't want to find out what happens a third time. I have a sensitive stomach, I needed my food cooked with care and given to me with quality. Not thrown together of unnecessarily sweeten. At least put the extra sauce on the side. And if your gonna make it " better " by making the omelette size bigger, at least add the ingredients that were actually wanted.
I won't be visiting this location ever again. N I am telling everyone I know to avoid...
Read moreWe have patronized IHOP, about once a week, for some time now. Recently relocated to FL, so started going to this IHOP location. Our customer service experience this morning was horrible, so we will not be returning. Arrived to a nearly empty resturant this morning at 0844. After several minutes the server took both a drink and food order. We did not see her again. It appeared 2 servers were working. We watched as other patron's were seated, had orders taken, and drinks delivered by the other server. After 12 minutes or so, and having not seen our server since our order was taken, we queried the other server working to see if we could get our drinks. We reminded her that we had been waiting about 10 minutes. She then went to the kitchen, where shortly after we (and the whole resturant) could hear our server blow up over the suggestion that we had been waiting for 10 minutes. We could hear her (from the kitchen) tell the other server that we would get service when she was ready to provide it! We decided then to leave. I advised the manager that we were cancelling our orders and leaving the resturant. He claimed to have not been aware of what was going on, up until I canceled the order. This despite the fact that the entire resturant reacted to our server's outburst from the kitchen and he had been in the kitchen at the time she had her outburst. He didn't seem too concerned when I told him why we were leaving. We generally don't expect, or require, much in the way of service. A respectful exchange with our server and food delivered hot. A pretty low bar to clear really. Too bad, we've enjoyed the food. If the fanchisee is wondering why patrons choose not to come back, it shouldn't be too hard...
