We ate at the Mitchell Ranch Plaza, Trinity Fl location and I have to say the service and store was terrible. After leaving I called the store and asked to speak to the manager, Mikayla, about the following…The staff was very loud chatting with each other - I was told that this is a common complaint. The chicken noodle soup bread bowl that I ordered was less than 1/2 full…I brought it back up and was told that it was soup in a bread bowl, that’s what happens…I said that there was hardly any of the contents of the soup and I was told that it was bread, like a sponge, she could fill it back up but the same thing would happen, (side note, this was Mikayla, the manager who schooled me on bread absorption), when we were finished with our meal, I asked for boxes and was told that they didn’t have any boxes for the hoagies, and was handed a piece of paper to wrap it in..no bag or anything…just paper and a sticker if we wanted one. Mikayla explained that they didn’t have boxes and that was out of her control but she has had complaints about that before as well. While we were there, the music kept going up and down in volume so between the loud conversation that the staff was having and the music the entire visit wasn’t really what we were expecting after working all day and coming in for a bite to eat on a Monday afternoon.
When we exited the store, we walked around the sidewalk to our car and noticed that there was trash littered all along the sidewalk outside of the store. Not a good representation for Panera at all.
I hope that someone will take the time to train these kids on customer service and running a store. While I did tell manager Mikayla that I sympathized with her on situations of staffing and poor customers, I didn’t think she provided the best example of a manager for the customers or the staff she...
Read moreI've been eating panera ever since the very first one opened just so happens one of my closest friends was actually a shift manager and moved up to Gm I think it was about 10 years ago so I think I know this establishment well I've always had a favorite sandwich it's the frontega chicken panini probably are this sandwich over a 100 times and I will truly say this location makes it better then anywhere I've ever been even better than what my friend use to personally make it for me I often get a soup to go 1 time I got to work and realized I had received the wrong soup simple as making a phone call and they put me on a list and completely comp my whole next meal didn't bother asking me to bring that one back told me don't worry about it enjoy that one and next time you come in the next one's on us as for the dining room I hear a lot of people complaining there's not enough tape they can't help that their business exceeds the amount of customers that want to die here every building has a max even compare and I'm sure that they have utilized every seat they're allowed to by law if they put any more seats in I'm sure people will be complaining it's too crowded as for the service I received Everyone is always cordial I even bring the food to your table it's not a restaurant it is more like it's a go place that has tables and yet they still deliver it to your table so as for you people that are complaining I think you're just expecting too much because I consider myself an expert on Panera's due to the fact my friend has opened for locations and was the GM of the original one ever open this establishment is running well their portions are pretty large compared to some other Panera's I've been too I always get my chicken stack high on my sandwich I don't ever have to...
Read more1.9.25 UPDATE I felt the need to come on here after having not eaten at this panera for 2 years. Management is horrible. Tell me why at lunch time, 11:53 am was time of order, they have 1 cashier working and 3 people behind the line fulfilling orders. There's people standing out the door just waiting to order, theres about 20 people standing around the hot food window waiting on their food and every seat in here is filled. Took me 30 minutes, 12:22pm to be exact to get half a sandwich and a cup of soup. Who ever the franchise owner of this location is, (because I doubt with its staffing issue that it is corporate) needs to quit being cheapskate and staff more workers. Absolutely ridiculous having 4 people trying to serve/manage 100 people at lunch rush Place continues to go down hill. Staff is extremely slow at taking orders. Everytime we visit there is a sign on the door "due to unforseen circumstances we are out of xyz". Ok unforseen or poor management, improper ordering, no budget? Like what is happening?
It's a Tuesday. You don't have sourdough bread, you don't niche white bread, no croutons, no baguettes. I'm sitting here waiting for my to go order and person after person is coming in complaining. One woman is walking around looking for silverware because it wasn't on her tray. I've been sitting for 20 minutes waiting for 2 bowls of tomato soup, a grilled cheese and a chicken salad sandwich they called me up to tell me sorry we just ran out of white bread. OK cool, then I wait another 10 minutes for my food. There are no other orders in the que on the...
