I am not big on fast food takeout, especially on Asian fast food like Panda Express. But when you are stuck in an airport trying to catch a flight, and hungry, you are running out of options. So I was able to find this place in terminal 3 in the Fort Lauderdale airport. There was no one in line so I figured it was the quest way for me to get something to eat. There are no tables and chairs since it was in the food court, so I got my food in the to-go box. I ordered the house chicken special, thinking it might come close to Kung Pow chicken. The portion of my order is decent. I got plenty of chicken and a large portion of rice. But, the dish lacks any seasoning f. The chicken tasted bland and lack of any flavor. The little side salad was sliced cucumbers and carrots. But again lack any flavors. Needless to say, I did not enjoy this meal. I only managed to eat half of it and throw the rest away. But again, this is airport fast food so I did not have any expectations, to begin with.

I couldn’t believe it! Fresh ingredients, crisp vegetables and it wasn’t another boring rabbit salad. I’ve been through the Fort Lauderdale Airport a few times in the last year or two and would constantly settle for a bag of chips. However, this weekend my eyes & my stomach were in tune with one another and I decided to order the teriyaki chicken dish for $12. It was really good! I really couldn’t believe the quality, portion size, speed of service and delicious flavor. It’s an open kitchen concept so customers are able to see all the action going on behind the counter. My only regret was eating chips before I ate the dish because I was so full but I was able to have the rest when I got home. I’ll definitely eat there again if I have another connecting flight in Fort Lauderdale. The picture doesn’t lie. The spinach was fresh fresh fresh nothing frozen in this frame.

I eat vegan, and I fly in and out of FLL often. The options in the terminal are dismal and super meat-focused (or bread with bread). Took a walk today and happened upon Pei Wei for the first time and found that they offer vegetarian versions of their dishes. I assumed tofu - which would have been amazing - but it was vegetables. Still, the vegetables are fresh and the sauce isn’t heavy and she even got some brown rice for me. It was a pleasantly personal-feeling experience in the hellish foodscape of an airport terminal. It was clear the person helping me (maybe the owner?) cared about the customer’s experience. If you’re vegetarian, stuck in Ft Lauderdale airport, and hungry - for sure support this place.

Ridiculous. About 8pm on oct 1 2018 I ordered my normal order steamed chicken and vegetables. Sat down. 15 minutes later my pager goes off. I got to get my food only to be informed that they only paged me to “make sure what I ordered was actually what I wanted” then they told me my food was coming. 10 minutes later no food. I’m about to miss my flight. Lady was super rude saying it’s my fault for ordering steamed instead of fried. I ask for a manager turns out the real manager left already and left her in charge. Caring none at all she continues to be rude. At this point I took a picture of her to later show a real manager on my next flight as she should be working in the back and by no means allowed to talk to customers and was about to go to my flight. She starts screaming at me and goes and gets a police officer. After telling the police officer it’s perfeftly legal to take pictures I was released and bearly made my flight. For a “supervisor” to leave her post when they are slammed busy just to try and make a customer miss their flight is crazy. I have 40 employees and if any of them acted that way it would be...
