11/28/24-An amazing and delicious Thanksgiving to remember! Peter Pan Diner is a Magical Experience! On a very busy Thanksgiving Day-They greet you warmly like family! I don’t know how they do it! Their game plan is choreographed to please everyone! From their local regulars, who have been coming for 20-30 years to tourists to loyal fans who travel from West Palm Beach— Everything comes from the Heart! Service with a smile, prompt delicious food and amazing drinks! Their epic menu includes something for everyone! I sat at the bar in the newly refreshed lounge! Wow! Beautiful! Just the right amount of TV’s to watch your favorite sports team but not intrusive. Service was on point! You will never have a better Patty Melt in the world! No others compare! That was my choice on Thanksgiving Day! Omg! Things that dreams are made of! Perfectly cooked medium rare! Piping hot, juicy and full of flavor! Sautéed onions and melted cheese.. Oh! and the bread is to die for…. Huge portion! I upgraded to their famous onion rings! Crispy and sweet! Wow! Taking Yummy to a whole new level! Of course I was full but you can never leave without dessert! All made in house! Boston Cream Pie is phenomenal! It’s my go to.. Moist cake with a vanilla custard cream filling! Topped with a chocolate ganache! What’s not to love! A crisp Pinot Grigio to enjoy with my lunch! A Thanksgiving to remember! The owners are the hardest working family! Please support your local family owned and operated businesses! They are the heart of the community and our Country! Thank you Peter Pan Diner for making me feel like family! A fan for life! I highly recommend! ————————————- 11/2023-Thanksgiving Love Peter Pan Diner! A true Diner Experience! Dreams really do come true! Thanksgiving day I ventured out on Brightline train from West Palm Beach to Fort Lauderdale to fulfill my wish to return to the Peter Pan Diner! Our family and my late husband’s favorite Diner and it was a family tradition for 25 years!!! It surpassed all my expectations! Omg! A warm welcome from the host and the owners! Great service from Barbara! They were busy and she was attentive and helpful! Wow! I started with a glass of delicious white wine! I chose the most delicious Prime Rib dinner! It was perfectly cooked medium and cut like butter!! The bread and butter, salad and veggies were absolutely delicious and soooo much food! I don’t know how they do it! Huge portions and the best quality! It may have been the most delicious Prime Rib I’ve ever had and I go to 5 Star Steakhouses! It was Thanksgiving and they were very busy but I was never rushed. One person sitting alone taking up a booth and as a widow holidays are always an emotional challenge but I truly felt like family! I actually made friends with neighboring families.. It’s an ambiance of family, great food and service! The menu is extensive! Something for everyone!! I chose the Boston Cream Pie for dessert ! So glad I did… it was huge and so fresh and moist, so much custard and chocolate ganache .. absolutely delicious! Things that dreams are made of.. Thank you for a delicious memorable experience and walk down memory lane! I will definitely be back soon! I highly recommend!!

This place is not worth a visit. Food is bland nothing was good. I was served warm chocolate milk and burnt eggs. I will never return. My hotel breakfast was better than here! So you the owner are calling me a liar on my room temperature chocolate milk huh? I consider any milk not cool or cold as warm. My server was an older lady with all the gold jewelry. Is there still something with my review now??? Your restaurant was not worth the recommendations I received to eat there. Update: I went and read all the bad reviews about this restaurant and I noticed a pattern, you can't handle anyone actually leaving a bad review. You dismiss people's claims and downplay anything that shows your restaurant in a negative light. I actually visited your restaurant sat in the booth in the corner by the front door, near the counters. Had an older lady with died black hair and a ton of jewelry serve us, she was fantastic. However the chocolate milk "made with syrup" was Luke warm. Check the video footage if you want. I complained about it to the guest that was with me. Ordered the 2 eggs with bacon and home fries, white bread toast with strawberry jelly. My eggs I asked for scrambled with cheese, did not receive my order with cheese...and the eggs had a bunch of "freckles" or brown burnt spots on them. I didn't ask for different food bc you get one chance to get a first impression right. You failed and I left a basic review. But you tell me "we don't serve warm milk, there is something wrong with my review. Have a good day and don't worry, you won't ever see me in your restaurant again when I travel thru the area. 2nd update drug here by my father in law again. Tried to make it work. Ordered a breakfast sandwich. Of course it's burnt eggs and cold cheese with toast. I literally could make better food at home!!!

Located at the intersection of Oakland Park Blvd. and Dixie Highway, Peter Pan Diner offers daily a vast variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes at reasonable prices for dine in, takeout, and delivery. After being greeted by the hostess, she quickly seated me at an available table. My server soon came after overlooking the menu and took my order of a cup of hot tea and the Willie French Connection which consisted of eggs, French toast, 2 bacon strips, and 2 sausage links. Here's my take on the food... * Hot tea was soothing. A small teapot filled with hot water was provided in case you wanted a second cup. * Eggs was scrambled and made to my liking. Added a bit of salt & pepper for flavor. * Bacon was crispy and though I'm not a fan of sausage, it was ok. If I order this again I will substitute the sausage for extra bacon. * Though the French toast wasn't made with that cinnamon essence that I absolutely love, it was still good without having an eggy taste. Overall the meal was enjoyable. The bustling diner had that casual atmosphere where you can come in and socialize over some good food. I have to give a lot of credit to the whole staff. Each server gave attention to their tables in a timely manner and were very pleasant. Even the busboy was quick in clearing the dirty dishes and wiping the tables clean for the next patron(s). I look forward on returning to try another dish.

As diners go, this is a local mainstay. This is another diner that I have been going to for many, many years. My first visit was in the mid 1990's when I would be on vacation. Later, I moved here in 2001. It's a familiar place. They know me when I walk in. The food is exactly what you'd expect from a good diner. It's hot and plentiful. Breakfast is always available throughout the day or night. There are the usual offerings of hot & cold sandwiches and full meals along with daily specials. Their Lamb Shank is particularly good and always sells out. Their charbroiled burgers and ribs are great too. It's just good, basic food; nothing too fancy or out of place for a diner. The owners are Greek, so offerings of traditional Greek food are also on the menu.

The one thing different about this diner is that they have a full service bar which is unusual. The bar is located in a separate room, complete with several flat screen TVs, a jukebox, booths, an arrangement of tables and barstools. You can always find people dining, hanging at the bar and watching the flat screens. They have their regulars. It's a bit like a pub and it has a separate entrance from their ample parking lot. The rest of the diner is pretty typical with counter service and two separated dining areas. To their credit, the owners have always seen fit to invest in refreshes and periodic renovations which presently include flooring, new booths, tables, chairs, renovated bathrooms and a number of flat screen TVs. The place is well cared for.

Service is usually very good, but delays can sometimes happen when they're particularly busy and short staffed, but that's rare. Sundays can be very busy once the area churches let out. The staff really hustles. There are staff that have been with the diner for many years and they get to know their regulars by name. Relationships are formed. These are friendly, experienced and efficient servers. Newer members come and go, but the staff always seems familiar. Patrons will often ask to be seated in the section of their favorite server.

My only issue is that they are no longer open 24 hrs. It was such a convenient place to go when you couldn't sleep or when you were out late, but 24 hour diners are a dying breed. I'm simply glad they are still here. Not too long ago they were rated "Best Diner", so they're doing...
