Fetish Factory — Local services in Oakland Park

Very sad today, as after supporting Fetish Factory the store and it’s parties for circa 15 years, I can no longer. I have always in the past had an amazing experience with those that work with the Fetish Factory until yesterday. Fast forward to 6 days ago on last Sunday where I had gotten a group of 7 girlfriends to commit to trying out a Fetish party with me the following weekend. We rented a house up in Boca so we could all stay together. I was one of the people that decided to go that day to purchase a ticket in the store with one of the girls attending along with some latex outfits and accessories. Their policy is you must pay CASH for all tickets which means technically it leans in their favor as there is no way to connect you with your ticket. There is a reason this fact will be important. So we purchased our tickets and items and left. I then realized I also wanted to purchase shoes to match my outfit and had it set up to pick up on Saturday at Will Call the day of the party. Why this is important is sadly somehow I lost my ticket 😞 Now though they have cameras and can easily confirm or simply write down the names that correspond with the tickets I later was informed by Emma this is not their policy. So I tore up my house; purses and car praying I could find it but I could not. So I called Fetish Factory truly praying as I have never in all these years lost my ticket. Well I was informed by Emma that the only thing I could do was purchase another ticket and if I found my original they would reimburse me but there was nothing else they would do. She then went onto analogize if I lost my plane ticket or concert ticket that’s exactly what they would tell me. That is absolutely incorrect as in most cases like any professional establishment there would be a paper trail with your information and proof of payment to reissue your plane ticket or whatever. I don’t do bootleg concerts or airlines so I could not concur with her thought. Then when I asked if I could speak to a Manager just to see if there was anything they could do to make an exception or help me she smugly stated “Well you’re in luck because I am the Manager”. Truth be told I have never cried over an experience with a a manager. But I guess feeling like I have always been a loyal customer coupled with the fact I knew I would have to go inform my party it made my heart hurt. Gratefully I have awesome friends who understand why out of principal I will not purchase another ticket to support such behavior or policies and so they are standing with me. We will eat the the cost of tickets; room; outfits etc and attend another event in Miami. It’s been a long awesome decade plus run with their store and parties. I was a loyal customer and in the end treated like I didn’t matter. I apologize I lost my ticket but that shouldn’t mean I would ever be...

I am adding to my post below after yet another amazing experience at FF. While there recently both Jamie and Natalie worked with me for about 2.5 hours. I probably tried on fifty items and they were so patient and helpful. I can say that in all my shopping experience over decades the employees at FF hands down provide the most gracious and helpful service I have EVER experienced in retail. I do wish they got commission as I probably would not have gotten maybe even half of what I purchased, which was substantial, if not for them. All the employees there are really terrific and friendly and helpful I have just had the most experience with Natalie and Jamie. I look forward to returning when back in Fort Lauderdale. Best shopping experience ever and if you like this kind of thing you will feel like a kid in a candy store. Hands down it's the best adult fetish store around!!!

First time visitor and look forward to returning. I live in the northeast where there is nothing like this store, I will definitely be returning! The store is nothing like the the sex shops with pretty but cheap lingerie mostly suitable for strip clubs; that's all fine but this place goes far and above. All the help was excellent but would like to especially thank Natalie who was very attentive and helped give me honest feedback as I tried on outfit after outfit. This review is for the staff. The woman who helped me last night had light purple braids and shaved hair on the sides. I don’t remember her name. It’s hard to come here when you know you were hot 20 years ago and now your body is, well, not hot. Walking in here was not on my list of things I’m excited to do, but my husband wanted to so here I was, anxiety and all. I was pleasantly surprised to see options for me and I took my haul to the dressing room. The woman who helped me in the dressing room was very positive and made the experience more bearable for my lack of confidence. She laced up a corset on me, Gone with the Wind style, and made me laugh. I didn’t get anything since these items accentuate everything, good and bad.
