following up. 10.10.24 per dmv pa . gov u forgot to include the actual meaning, u just inserted a part to whereas you still falsely accuse and claim the id is fake.

u must be ashamed and u will feel really stupid when we return with some more “verification” or a cop, if needed, to educate the management & staff on his id & how it is a real id, just not the new one trying to be implemented into airports by 2025. look it up.

so per dmv pa gov ( anyone has access to this, you shouldve just included the whole thing, or read it to educate yourself. )

realid is a trademark and a new type of identification card that is used for travel as stated above. that is not just being implemented in pa either, go visit any local airport srq rsw tpa & you will see the signs for realid & how they are trying to implement it by march 2025. you do not need a realid ID to enter a bar. as it states above, it is used for higher security standards than a normal drivers license. ===== his id is a NORMAL license. not the new.

anyone can explain that out to you and how it works. you can also read similar stories on reddit of (and yeah i get annoyed at the influx of new people in our area i understand it) northerns specifically from PA having trouble because it states that, you will read under it how people have had problems at even grocery stores UNTIL they read what it meant and they were educated.

that was not the case here, you guys were adamant that the id was fake & i told you guys to bring anyone in to scan it.

so again, we will gladly return with his passport once everything is open again - just to verify with you guys since it is clearly still being falsely accused of a fake id & wrong age. that is no issue, maybe we should have came prepared with the passport. and you guys dont even have to serve us after, i dont want any money going to you guys, but we will gladly stop by just so you guys can see that he is of age.

lastly, yes, i am aware protocol on the island. my old management even made jokes with him regarding his id & how people here would look at him funny. but to paying customers, in my case i would have educated myself & been a little nicer to the people of the community, especially during a time like this.

the comment from the server that atf is strict on sk, implying the id was fake, when that certainly isnt the case. but also the rude, antagonizing behavior from management as well. walked over and pointed to my florida id saying yeah i cant take that. in which i laughed and said you arent even looking at the right id.

also yes you are right i did not reenter the establishment, i was disgusted, i spoke with cops by the south bridge, at a fellow establishment that was kind enough to see our service again following the damage from helene they encountered (also another worker that has seen the two of us many times there and knows we are clearly of age)

So for starter.. service SUCKS! When the waiter first came to our table it was straight “what do you guys want to drink” no smile nothing. Said 3 cokes and he just walks away and says nothing. Comes back a few mins later and drops them off ..still says nothing. He also gave us small plastic cups which is totally fine. I do that at my job also but if I’m giving small cups I always make sure to give refills sooner than later. We literally had to ask for refills after he seen our empty cups ant the end of the table And then had to wait even longer for the refills. Anyways what really brought me here was I ordered a buffalo chicken flatbread. When it got to my table it honestly did not look good at all but looks can be deceiving so I took a big ole bite ..and it was so mushy in my mouth. I ate one slice trying to make myself like it but gave up. I just ate my fries and was gonna ask for them to take it off the bill and if I could get a chicken salad instead. Before I could even ask for a second meal he takes the food and walks away. That sent me over the edge. I go to the bathroom and then come back to the table and my boyfriend tells me our waiter said “the manager looked at the food and said it wasn’t soggy so he can’t take it off the bill” but I got a discount! Welp there goes my dinner! Just a side of fries. Yummy. It almost made me feel Ike they thought I was lying to not pay for it…little did they know I still wanted to order a second meal. I work in the restaurant industry and never would I great a table without a smile or even an into. And if my table didn’t like something I would do my best to fix it for them..not only that when this happens at my job my manager herself always makes sure to take to the table to make them feel heard. It is a shame to have to write this review as I have been coming here to MVP since they opened and the food is some of the best pub style food on the strip. My wife and I have a condo 2 block away from here so it is convenient and a place we go to regularly enough when we are in town.

The problem with MVP is the SERVICE as it unfortunately has become some of worst on the key, and not just tonight but 3 or 4 of the last 5 times I have gone.

Tonight after waiting over 10 minutes I had to go to host and let him know we still had not seen anyone. The waitress that ended up finally coming over was the same one waiting on a few other tables around us, so we were obviously part of her section. It was also not overly busy; there was no wait, plenty of empty tables, and plenty of staff including at least 1 food runner.

Not only were we not offered the most basic apology, she was obviously pissed we had complained and all around unpleasant.

Other things that went wrong:

Simple diet coke with lemon did not have lemon

My sandwich came with the side of the person I was with and his came with mine

I had to go find my own ketchup for my fries because the waitress avoided us; and I had to go to 3 tables because the first two that I checked were also empty/nearly empty. Ironically when they cleaned and set the tables they put those empty ketchup bottles right back in the middle of the tables to frustrate the next guests.

The food is absolutely not worth putting up with the horrible service.

If you can’t find a seat at the bar (you can seat yourself at the bar as it is first come first serve, and this is the only way I will go back) you should go...
