Subway — Restaurant in Florida

I was just there a few seconds ago and I have to complain. The employees there don’t know the rules. Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t you have to change your gloves after everything. I watched both employees working there touch everything and not change their gloves once. When walking in, there was a customer being checked out by one employee and the other was restocking the food. She brought out a container full of meat, wiped her nose with her arm while wearing gloves then touched every slice of meat, she touched the shredded cheese, sliced cheese, and the bacon and never changed her gloves once. The other employee finished with the customer and then started to make my sandwich, she never changed her gloves after touching the other customers sandwiches as well as the register and the oven door. Then she rang me up as well and I waited a while to see if both employees would change their gloves but they never did. This is disgusting they are hands on with your food and should be changing their gloves in between everything. As a shy and non confrontational person I couldn’t bring my self to say anything so I chose to write this review. Please if the manager sees this do better. You are working with peoples food. Health and cleanliness is important.

Update edit: Miss Danielle blessing Kennedy is the employee who did not change her gloves while touching all the exposed food. I saw she left a comment about employees having a bad day, I understand that but no bad day should stop you from follow protocol for health and safety, not to mention her mumbling under her breath about how long we were...

I wouldn't even give them one star! My husband and I went in this evening at approximately 7:30PM to get six foot longs. We started with One meatball marinara on cheesy garlic bread and one cold cut combo on Italian herbs and cheese. Upon request for the cheesy garlic bread we were informed it wasn't available even though they had the white bread, mozzarella, and the garlic butter spread which is how the new sandwich is made. So we were bummed didn't argue decided to go with the Italian herb and cheese bread the male employee only placed six meatballs on the footlong with no additional sauce when we asked to please have the additional meatballs that the footlong is supposed to have and more sauce we were told that's all they had and he couldn't go in the back and get more because they were closing in two and half hours! Now the kicker....when the male was placing the cold cut combo meat onto the bread it was slightly green and a greyish brown hue it was turning bad when I asked for better meat I was told there was nothing wrong with the meat and that was all they had.... instead of finishing our order we walked out... didn't complete the purchase. We were disgusted and appalled at the customer service and the laziness that this employee displayed his poor attitude and unwillingness to do his job accurately and his inability to uphold standard food preparation and safety guidlines the meat should never have been served or offered it was disgusting. We will...

This subway is the most convenient to where we live. This was my 3rd time we'd gone in to get subs. The staff (2 women) acted like we were troubling them! Maybe they were having a bad day, so I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt and decided to give them one more try yesterday (Sunday 9/17/23). When I walked inside, there was a gentleman working. I walked up to the counter, and it took him a min to walk over (no big deal), but then he said nothing to me. I told him my order, and he started making the 2 subs (mind you, 1 of the subs was just a 12" on white with turkey and American cheese) anyways, he already had gloves on but took them off to grab a receipt (I assumed it was an online order just coming in) he proceeds to put on another pair of plastic gloves but never washed his hands! He came back to put the toppings on, but I skipped any toppings bc they looked a few days old! I went to check out, and then I saw ants on the counter, so I said to the worker, "You have ants," so he started smaking them right by my bag of subs and still said nothing! I was disgusted and just wanted to get out of there. Then he told me the total ( I believe it was like $22 and change, so not cheap). Well, I threw the subs out. So,I wasted my money, time, was completely grossed out, and still had no dinner! That's the last time I'll ever go...
