This was my first visit to the Sugar Factory. There were four of us ladies that went to have our yearly birthday celebration. When we arrived, there was a line at the door. However, we had already set a reservation. We were directed into the area where you buy candy to wait for our table. It was a short wait. The restaurant was packed. There were people filtering through the whole time that we were there. As quickly as a table emptied, it was cleaned and filled again. The atmosphere was exciting! I did not know that the Sugar Factory is where you go to have a birthday celebration. It was fun to see so many people having such a great time! We were seated at a table, given menus, and allowed time to decide what we wanted to drink. I had a virgin, Sour Apple Lolly. It is a martini that comes with a Charms Blow Pop. I had the Pan Roasted Salmon as well. The food was cooked fresh and it was delicious! We took our time to decide what to drink and eat because we were enjoying the atmosphere. The wait staff goes from table to table celebrating whomever is having a birthday at that table per their request. This means you can pick a dessert from the menu or bring your own (for a fee) and request a song to be played from a song list. Once you have finished your meal, you can let your server know you are ready for dessert. They bring out the dessert and perform the birthday celebration with the song requested playing, and it is electric!!!! You can take pictures by the picture walls. There are also photographers taking pictures that you can purchase as well. We met the manager as well while we were there because he was out working alongside the employees. I thought he was an employee until he told me he was a manager. His name is Brandon. He is a sweetheart! I wanted to know about the lollipop that was in my drink, and he was very polite, professional, and attentive to making sure that I was happy with my drink and I received a complimentary lollipop as well. Thank you, Brandon, for a great first experience! We will be back! Stop by for an AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!!!!

This was an amazing place! We had so much fun. My partner and I took his daughter here for her 14th birthday while we were in Orlando Florida last month. We all enjoyed. Upon entry, we visited the candy shop located at the front of the restaurant and it had all types of sweets in there. This was candy heaven 😍 We made reservations and I'm glad we did because this place was crowded and we went on a Thursday night. I especially loved the music and the vibrant ambiance. My partner paid for extras so that the staff could play a song of her choice to celebrate her birthday. I think the one he got costed $35 for a song and dessert. Upon entry it was live and in full effect. We didn't want to leave. This was the funnest eatery I have ever been too. They had a video playing on a select wall where you could see how much fun they had at other locations. There was all types of celebrities frequenting this place, but we didn't see any in Orlando. They had 2 walls were you could either take selfies or cute family photos. We of course took several pictures. This place was amazing and I will definitely visit other locations in the future. The food was also good. One thing I will say is that it took a long time for us to obtain our food after we ordered. I imagine it's due to the wait staff coming to the tables to do the birthday celebration which takes them away from their other duties. Even so, we greatly enjoyed. This establishment is wheelchair accessible and it is also kid friendly. If you take your kid here for their birthday there's a $100 ice cream sundae I'm sure they'll love. We didn't get it when we went, but we did see people ordering them. I so wished we had a few more people with us to enjoy this sundae with🤪 It's a blast for the entire family. #Tonetta

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Sugar Factory Orlando Icon Park for my daughter’s Sweet Sixteen birthday. From the moment I booked my reservation to the moment we left the restaurant, the experience was a complete disaster due to poor communication, disorganization, and unprofessional service. I made a reservation a week in advance for a party of 17, asking all the necessary questions regarding policies, fees, and arrival times. The employee who took my reservation assured me that everything was set, with no mention of additional fees or strict policies. However, when I called on February 14 to confirm, I was blindsided by new information. I was suddenly informed that, due to high weekend occupancy, we could face a 30-minute to 1-hour wait despite our reservation, that bringing a cake would incur a $40 fee (which covers music, singing, and fireworks), and that if we ordered dessert from the menu, there would still be an additional $5 service charge. This last-minute revelation was completely unacceptable—had I known in advance, I would have chosen another restaurant that values transparency instead of springing hidden fees on paying customers. On the day of our reservation, we arrived at 5:35 PM, but despite 80% of our guests being present, we were not seated until 6:15 PM. Upon arrival, we were also informed that we had a strict two-hour dining limit, which had never been disclosed beforehand. Once we finally placed our orders, our food took 30 minutes to arrive, yet just five minutes after receiving our meals, our server handed us the check, stating it was “just so she wouldn’t forget to give it to us.” This was followed by repeated visits asking if we needed to-go boxes—while we were still eating! It was clear that we were being rushed, despite the manager I spoke to earlier assuring me that would not be the case. Adding to the chaos, the staff abruptly brought out the birthday cake without asking if we were ready. To make matters worse, we were told they could not provide plates or cut the cake for us, only offering to-go boxes. By this point, I was beyond frustrated. I requested to speak with a general manager, only to be told Sugar Factory does not have general managers—only managers. The final insult came when, at exactly 7:35 PM, we were told we had to leave because our reservation time was up. Some of my guests were in the middle of eating, while others were trying to order dessert, only to be informed that they were no longer allowed to place orders. I will never return to this establishment, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The lack of professionalism, transparency, and customer service was appalling. The only positive aspect of this experience was the manager, Megan, who was at least apologetic and waived the $40 cake fee, acknowledging that I should have been informed of the policies at the time of booking. However, one apology does not make up for an evening that was supposed to be a special celebration but turned into a frustrating and disappointing ordeal. I strongly urge corporate management to address these issues because this level of service is completely unacceptable.

Firstly, let me say that the service (once you can get it) is great, she's honestly the only thing that saved the experience. So, here I was looking for a decent and healthy-ish place to eat within Icon park and saw the Sugar Factory which despite the name, I saw it served salads so we stopped in for a bite and was immediately met with a faux candy-shop vibe clashing with upscale chandelier and barbie neon nightclub decor which was a rush for the sense and not in a good way. We waited to be sat at the front after the hostess sat a group, we weren't even sat immediately by the hostess or acknowledged by the hostess in any way and instead was greeted by a gentleman who seemed a little more concerned about us than our seemingly less-than-enthusiastic hostess. He chatted with us a bit until she came back and sat us, then we waited for about 15-20minutes before I wanted to get up and leave because I saw they were NOT busy, it was a Sunday and we arrived 2:00pm and although there were groups of people there were several tables still open. Finally, as we rose from the table to leave our server greeted us and brought us waters. She was very sweet and attentive and honestly the only reason we stayed, I asked about sweet tea which they did not have and then asked about Sprite which our server reported to us was flat. This did not start out our late lunch on a good note, she took our order which was a Sesame Ginger Salad and a Burger with blue cheese. It took around 30-45 minutes for food to arrive which gave us time for our photos to be taken, pictures printed and purchased. Loud atmosphere aside, once our food arrived the burger was good but not worth the price point and the salad was mostly cabbage and one thin slice of chicken breast and the star of the show that was supposed to be the ginger dressing tasted nothing like ginger and if they put any on there at all, I certainly couldn't taste it. Later in the meal, I went to the restroom and was appalled at how disgusting the entrance to the woman's restroom was. If you're going to have a WHITE bathroom door, for the love of sanitation and a clean establishment wipe the doors down. It looked like the entrance of warehouse bathroom as it was physically and visually dirtied. Once inside the bathroom, I used the first stall and saw toilet paper stuck to the wallpaper in the bathroom and just felt sick to my stomach. Overall, service was excellent; they may be short staffed which explained the late attention to a newly sat tablet. Bright and overwhelming decor which may be good for parties or groups. Expensive but poor to moderate quality food and disgusting bathrooms. A real shame, this is a party version of a Cheesecake factory where they're hoping you're drunk enough on their drinks to not notice anything else.

Today, my family and I had the opportunity to visit The Sugarfactory for the first time. My daughter chose this place to have her seven year old birthday dinner. First, as soon as we walked in, we were informed by the hostest that they were completely booked and had no more availability. After we walked away from the service desk, we checked online and was able to secure a reservation for 7 pm via open table. Upon returning at 7pm, we were checked in but weren't seated until approximately 8:07. While waiting, we stood in the candy factory where we witnessed one of the waitresses drop a piece of the cookie from their cookie shake onto the dirty countertop. Immediately after dropping the cookie without hesitation, she quickly picked it up and placed it back on top of the shake. (It should be noted that the same counter was touched by multiple servers and guests in the immediate area.) We also noticed that the shevles in the candy factory were scarce. When I went to use the mens restroom, I noticed that the sign on the door had been torn off. Upon entering the restroom, I noticed their lack of care and cleanliness. See pictures for further. When our food finally came out, it was relatively quick. We ordered the sampler for $30, rainbow sliders $27, loaded buffalo fries $22, and penne Alfredo $20. To be completely honest, we were displeased by the quality and taste of all the food. Sampler 1/10: Their housemade chicken tenders were extremely salty. The onion rings were also prepared in the same or similar salty batter and greasy. The wings were large and chewy. The fried mac and cheese pops were oily and lacked flavor. Sliders 3/10: These were decent with the burger sauce on them. The only issue with them was that the dye used to colorize the buns made your mouth/lips/teeth colorful. Loaded fries 2/10: The fries were topped with cheese sauce, green onions, ranch, and chopped buffalo chicken. The issue here was that this contained the same salty housemade chicken tenders. Alferdo 2/10: The Alfredo sauce lacked flavor and had a watery consistency. The noodles were on the drier side. See pictures I also ordered a butterfinger milkshake but immediately found out that the flavors were subpar. The ice cream quality seems to be the problem with this item. I did not enjoy this and requested it to be returned after two sips 1/10. Our overall experience here was a huge letdown 3/10. I would not recommend this restaurant to everyone seeking good ,flavorful, quality food. This restaurant is all atmosphere and hype! These three points are being awarded based on the exquisite desserts, energy of staff during the celebrations, and the overall atmosphere.
