Tony Sacco's Coal Oven Pizza - Estero, FL — Restaurant in Florida

We don't make the trek to Coconut Point frequently, but it was my youngest sons 17th birthday, and he and his lovely girlfriend, were in need of a few "staple" items for their wardrobes. (They grow rapidly, and their limbs get super long at this age). So, first up was feeding time, and the birthday boy chose Tony Sacco's. I was merely along for the ride( and the sole financier), so I dare not protest. I just felt lucky that they included me. We were greeted immediately by the manager, received our beverages quickly, and quickly decided on a half and half pizza (BBQ CHICKEN and GREEK) and tried some Hummus as well. The pizza was not only beautiful to look at, but everything was fresh, and in perfect proportion. The Hummus was delicious as well, seasoned just enough, but still maintained the consistency and natural flavor of the chick peas. Our check was a little over $35, and worth twice that. The environment and decor is casual and unassuming, but clean, and I noticed several different sporting events being shown on various tv's. There were drink specials displayed, as well as an array of beer choices, and signs posted advertising "trivia nights" and other weekly events. All in All, this was a great experience. No complaints, service was excellent as well. Check it out of you're in the neighborhood, it will not...

Decided to try Tony Sacco's again. Very happy with food and my service tonight. So I have changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars. Food was great and very timely. Bathrooms can still use alot of help. Would have been a 5 star

Used to come to this place all the time and would have rated it 10 stars if I could have....

Went tonight and if I could rate 0 stars I would. Horrible greeting, horrible food, bathrooms are falling apart and would not let my kids go in them.

Took forever to get a seat.

Went into restroom and it smelled like urine, the floor was nasty and the sink faucet was loose about to fall off.

Server came over and couldn't get our order right. After repeating what I wanted we still did not get the pizza we requested. We ordered the garlic knots, they never came and did not even get acknowledged that we ordered them. Server did not even put them on the tickets.

Pizza seemed hot and fresh but tastes like something my 7 year old would have tried to put together.

The amount of staff standing around just "hanging out" seems like a huge waste of money they could put into proper management.

Its ashamed a place as good as it was ended up as nasty as it is... never going back! Time for a new restaurant in...

What a disappointing experience today. Ordered take out and was told 25 mins. When I get there the bar is very busy and I managed to let the bartender know I was there for my order… after about 10 minutes of tending to other guests and running around she lets me know that my order never went through and if I were to order it would be about 30 minutes.. I told her I had children in my car and there was no way that we could wait that long.

I then let the host know that I was very disappointed about the order not going through and was yelled at by one of the women servers that came over saying how the system had crashed an hour earlier and they’ve been dealing with it for most of the night and the owner was not there.

I think we can all understand when technology issues happen but what we as customers don’t tolerate is not being told ahead of time. If the women that had answered the phone would have explained the issues happening I think I would have been better prepared to have waiting the extra 30 mins at the restaurant once we got there.

Wouldn’t recommend this location until they can...
