Uptown Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Florida

Visited when new owners took over, TERRIBLE. 3 people approached me to get a drink. There must’ve been four or five people behind the bar. We Never got our drinks. Much Caos behind bar. Walked Out !! Tried it again, months later, finally had good service with a girl with short hair, left her a $20 tip, very very strange. I noticed they never accepted my $20 tip., when I got my credit card statement. Now I see somebody else mentioned they’re not allowed to accept tips. 😳. Went back there a third time many bartenders behind the bar, you could tell there was no team work at all, Bartender’s were very snobby !! Finally, this shorter male bartender came to us and seem to be very young. He turned out to be excellent !!!! Unfortunately, this place is nothing like it was with the other management. I do not care to go to establishments that are hit or miss and you never know what...

I'd like to say I got to try the food or a drink or even see the band . I showed up an hour early to see the band Borderline. They had the whole place reserved for people more than an hour ahead of the show. Maybe don't advertise the band if its a private party. Or let people know to reserve a table.Place was pretty empty but they wouldn't seat any of us. There were 6 of us paying customers turned away amongst others i seen walk in . It was unorganized and no one knew what to tell us. So we left because they didn't even offer us a drink while we stood at the bar. I was really looking forward to seeing the band and trying out a new place. Wow what a disappointment. I had people come from other counties to join me, it was quite embarrassing . I wont make that mistake again! What a waste...

When we walked into the restaurant, the delicious smell made us excited to try it. We prefer sitting at the bar when we go out to eat, so we took a seat. We were immediately disappointed by the staff. The servers, shuckers, and cooks all made a point to ignore us, looking right over our heads. Some of who were doing absolutely nothing! Arms crossed just standing there. My husband had to get our own menus. We were never greeted, or even given a smile. After about eight minutes of being completely ignored, we left. We were sitting directly in front of the service station, so there was no way the staff could have missed us.
