I give it a one star so I can actually place this review. This Wendy’s is the worst Wendy’s I’ve visited in kissimmee. At around 9:30 after work I went to Wendy’s to order my food and drive home. I ordered 3 large chilis, chicken sandwich, baked potatoes and French fries. First I go through the drive thru and my app was acting up and the manager (ROBERTO) was very impatient with me and yelled out that I can call him over when I was ready. Which took me 2 seconds after he said that. Didn’t acknowledge me didn’t repeat my order just yelled out the total which was 45$. I found it very rude since I knew he was a manager by the way he dressed. I asked for a receipt and he said they don’t give them out. Found it odd.. fast forward to when I get home.. the baked potatoes were HARD, the chili was watered down! They added water to the chili to make it last longer. the French fries were stale and the chicken sandwich was very nasty and cold. I decided to drive back to Wendy’s after eating a couple things because honestly it was just too gross. When I got to the Wendy’s a young girl asked what the issue was I told her and she called the manager which was Roberto again. He showed up at the window and again didn’t acknowledge me didn’t apologize for the food being disgusting, which is technically their fault. And opened every item I brought back in front of me to make sure it wasn’t eaten. Which I also found very odd. Any other place would actually apologize and not need proof of what was said. I fought to get half my money back and once he gave it to me I told him his customer service was really bad and he responded “You should thank God I’m even giving you money back” I said “you had to, I brought back the food you know I was here earlier, and I made my way back to let you know the food wasn’t up to standards” he started saying I took 3 hours to come back to the Wendy’s to return the food. Like if it really mattered how long I took. My food should’ve been fresh and up to standards , I shouldn’t have to drive back period. He said “report me I don’t care” Great job Wendy’s ! Read moreMy experience was very "unnecessary" to say the least. All they had to do was get the order right. However, my customer experience became a human experience as an unruly customer had a complete disregard for decency and respect for others and really said some offensive things to the manager. My thoughts are with the crew and whatt words the customer said might have impacted them, and him specifically. Let me just say, the manager handled the situation once it escalated very professionally but also stood his ground. I applaud him and wish him the best.
My review is not based on that uncomfortable and unfortunate experience but rather, just my experience in a fast food restaurant.
The place was helpful in splitting up my order. I didn't wait too long through the drive through. Those were pluses. But they gave me spicy nuggets instead of regular nuggets. They also missed one of the fry orders I made.
As a result, I had to go back to the store and get this rectified. The wait and complete disregard is the reason for my rating. Everyone makes mistakes, and a simple recognition and fix to the order I made would have corrected my issue and might have prevented any further issues.
But after waiting at the front for 5 minutes with not a single employee acknowledging me, letting me know they would be able to help me, or even a glance in my direction for that matter, I had to speak up and get the managers attention.
He was changing out the drawer when I asked for his assistance and he had a bit of an irritated response stating that he sees me and will be with me shortly. I was becoming impatient because a simple "we will be with you shortly" would have been the best way to recognize a customer waiting and buy time for them to do the tasks.
As such, what transpired with the other customer is very unfortunate and does not reflect my review at all. It isn't just up to the manager to attend to a waiting customer (who already received their food). It is up to the entire staff and they let the company down.
Short staffing is understandable. But I just felt they were avoiding me because I was carrying bags and I shouldn't feel that way. It is up to the upper management to train how to handle simple customer service practices to prevent incident and that...

To order the food, it was an automated system at the drive thru which kept getting my order wrong, to eventually have the employee take my order through the machine… however this employee kept having us wait to even place the order. I think the automated system is ridiculous, & is also taking away jobs from people who are more than capable of taking my order because clearly the machine couldn’t successfully take mine. When I got to the window, the employee ended up trying to charge my new order that i placed with her, with the previous order I told her was wrong via the automated system. Food was okay, could definitely have been made better considering they clearly aren’t busy with taking orders (inside was closed as well).. so if you aren’t dealing with customers, why are orders wrong and not made correctly ?
