Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Florida

Listen, I do NOT leave reviews. But, I am compelled to leave this review as I’ve been a loyal customer to Zaxby’s back when I lived in NC. So trust me when I say that this Zaxby’s is awful. The chicken sandwich I got was just…bad? I literally gagged when I ate it and only ate half. Something was just very off. Additionally, and get a load of this BS… I ask for the sandwich with no sauce (it comes with zax sauce) and when I get to the window I ask for a zax sauce because I wanted to dip it, and the girl tries to charge me for the sauce. Listen, I know Zaxby’s charges for sauce - which is extremely idiotic by corporate…but I sometimes pay for it when I go to the “uncool” locations who don’t comp it. I explain that the sandwich doesn’t have sauce because I removed it, and the girl looked at me like I was crazy for even questioning her, like i’m sorry for thinking we live in a logical society? She looked at who I assume was the manager (older lady, white hair) and she acts like she can’t hear a thing and gives me a weird look too. I regret rummaging through my change drawer in my car to pay for it. And then, on top of it all, the fries were not seasoned at all and I literally asked for EXTRA seasoning. Do not go to this Zaxby’s. You’re better off going to wingstop or KFC which are down the road. Very disappointing. Like I said, I don’t leave reviews, this place just sucks. Won’t go back even if they respond to this with a “free meal” or whatever they do to save face. The locations back home would look at...

Decided to try place after seeing a few commercials. Found out it was just average, nothing that stands out. Asked questions regarding sauces, but counter help hadn't eaten their food, and another person behind counter couldn't tell me either. So bought the kicken chicken sandwich that had ranch and a red sauce. It tasted like buffalo sauce, which is ok, but the employees should be able to tell me the sauce tasted like this, instead of me guessing and find that it might not be something someone likes. Dining room needed to be swept and seating area tables should be wiped down. Decided to use restrooms, found they were dirty and smelled of urine. Management needs to have deep cleaning with lots of pinesol & bleach so restrooms smell clean and disinfected. If the dining room and restrooms are dirty, I assume if I seen the cooking area, I assume I would lose my appetite because I assume cooking area is probably just as dirty. Then it makes me wonder if employees wash their hands. If you are going to a chicken restaurant, I would go to either Caines or Chic-fil-a. Personally I would pick Caine's since the food tastes better, and portion sizes are heartier. But...

Zaxby's, Cleveland Ave., Ft. Meyers, Fl., Here is some chatter and my 2 cents on the food.

I have had this booked mark for a while. My inner voice has stopped me from going. Now I know why.

First whoever design the lot were idiots ( must be floridian)

To enter main door,you must pass thru the drive thru lane.

If there was a line at the drive thru, YOU would have your SAFETY in jeopardy. You would have to wait or take a chance on a typical floridian driver and go between 2 automobiles.

( Florida ALWAYS in top 5 worst drivers in the country.)

They got this right by having handicapped spaces near a entrance.

Though if you are in a wheelchair or disable it magnify the risk.

Now I must say all the staff were nice and friendly.

My first time here not sure what to get?

I was given a sample of the so called hot sauce. NOT HOT..just too much vinegar.

I settled on the cuba sandwich.

The fries were good just too small of a portion.

The chicken breast was bigger than I thought. Tasted like a steamed or boiled breast. No flavor per se... I just was NOT impress with the sandwich over all.
