PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS. I am the Assistant Coordinator of a day program that support participants with developmental disabilities. One of the members on my team took some the guys to Taco Bell for lunch and one had an accident in the Taco Bell restroom. The restroom is outside of the dining area and the staff for my organization was standing outside the door waiting on me (management) to arrive. While she was standing there, the manager on duty at Taco Bell came out and, in full voice, where the participant could hear as well, stated that it stinks and the smell will run the customers away. Simultaneously she was spraying body spray into the hallway.
While in the restaurant portion, the staff of my organization that was standing in the hallway overheard the manager on duty at Taco Bell exclaimed, "Are they still in here!!!?!?!?!?", all while there were still customers in the restaurant. She (Taco Bell's manager on duty) sent two of the staff of Taco Bell at two separate occasions, back to the hallway to spray while the staff of my organization was standing there.
When I came to speak to her, there was an odor in the hallway, but not in the dining area at all. She didn't take me to the side, she stood in the middle of the restaurant. I was speaking softly for discretion being there were still customers dining, but she spoke to me in full voice. There were two more of our participants sitting and waiting on their peer in the dining area, listening to the entire conversation. She stated that I needed to understand that she has a business to run and customers were complaining of the smell (but no one complained...I asked) She said to me, "Your staff should not have brought him if she knew he was sick!" I explained several times that accidents happen, but the participants of our program are paying customers too. They don't need to be embarrassed nor fronted out where the entire restaurant can hear because they are people too and deserve respect. She continued to fault the participant for an accident that could happen to anyone and further make the other participants that were sitting in the dining area feel unwelcome at the establishment.
Today is 2/23/2018. The time of our visit was approximately 12:00pm. She was very discriminatory towards our participants in her speech and she was very disrespectful and unprofessional. I am an advocate for all of our individuals and I would like to see this situation rectified. She would not give me her name and the staff working on the register told me that she didn't know the management on duty's name either because she was new (covering for her supervisor). I hate that this is a representative of Taco Bell and I want everyone to know about the discrimination against people with disabilities and disrespect at this location. Thank you...
Read moreThe service is good, people are always nice to me. But the shenanigans in the kitchen waste a lot of people's money. I ordered cheesy bean and rice burrito- it had no nacho cheese sauce, and no creamy jalapeno sauce. It was dry, and the rice was old, so old that it was impossible to eat without hurting my teeth. Seriously, soft bean, bland tortilla, and rice land mines that can crack a tooth. To counter-act the frequent issues with the simple burrito that is the cheesy bean and rice, I always order a side of creamy jalapeno sauce. This side had one pitiful quarter sized dollop of sauce, not even enough to fully fil out the bottom circle of the cup. I paid 65 cents for it AND rounded up for the scholarship fund.
My chicken flatbread melt was small, not a lot of chicken, and ZERO chipotle sauce. Also the whole thing was soggy. Chicken juices running out of it instead of sauce.
This whole experience was ruined, and I feel like an idiot that I rounded up for their scholarships...
Edi: i called the store and the manager was nice, but they interrupted me before I could tell them all the issues and just started saying "yeah sorry about that we will get it replaced". Like total interrupt, didn't wanna hear one more word I had to say. I called the corporate line, to make sure the feedback gets back to the kitchen people so they stop wasting people's money while we pay them- and i kid you not the corporate line took 35 min before someone picked up. Taco Bell...... u have a good thing going, quit letting bad attitude people send out bad food making customers upset.....and make it easier to get a resolution. I had a ruined lunch hour because every item I had was wrong, and then it took 35 min to call corporate. Also, TACO BELL, you have like 6 fake websites copying your tellthebell survey. They are sending out so much spam and phishing attempts it's...
Read moreTonight I attempted to grab a quick dinner from Taco Bell, but after visiting two different locations, I left with nothing but frustration. At the first location, no one would take my order at all. I tried the drive-thru, but after the automatic greeting message, no one came on the speaker. I even pulled up to the window, and still—no response. The store appeared to be open, but it felt like the staff had completely abandoned service. At the second location, the drive-thru line was long, so I went inside. When I said I wanted to order, the employee told me I had to use the kiosk. I explained I had cash, but instead of helping, she rolled her eyes, ignored me, and went back to the drive-thru. A few minutes later, another employee came over and said, “We don’t have time for this, you’ll need to go through the drive-thru.” I also overheard staff talking negatively about me to each other instead of providing service. Between one store ignoring customers altogether and another openly disrespecting and refusing service, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a fast-food chain. It reflects a serious lack of leadership, accountability, and customer care. I hope management takes this seriously and reaches out to explain how they plan to correct...
