My wife and I eat out often and really have never given a bad review even with average to below average service. We have been to this location several times. One reason, it happens to be our grandson’s favorite restaurant. I know the last three times we have been there including today, the service has been well below our expectations. From forgetting to fill our drinks, taking forever to take our order, food being slow getting to the table and even not coming back by the table towards the end of our meal to offer to-go boxes. Today was the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. We have an hour for lunch, and we arrived with 50 min to eat. It took better than 5 minutes for the hostess to seat us. It took approx. 10 more minutes to get our chips and drinks to the table and order. We told the waitress we were ready at that time, but she had drinks in her hand for another table and as I watched she decided to take their order first. By the time we ordered, and our soup/salad came out some time later, time had slipped away when we realized we had 12 minutes left and we were still waiting on our food. It was two lunch sized sandwiches, and the restaurant was maybe 30% of capacity. We chose to get to-go boxes and expressed our concerns on the time it took to get our food. The waitress offered no apology and was, actually, very rude. Not only were we still hungry and knew our food would be cold by the time we got home, but we were also both angry at how we were treated as paying customers. There was no offer to have the manager come to the table for “service recovery.” We paid the bill with a tip (20%) and we called on the way home and spoke to the manager. It seemed like she understood but by the end of the conversation, we looked at each other and felt she did not care either. Again, no offer to recover service for their business. I decided to come here for lunch with my spouse. I waited at the restaurant entrance and waited a while before someone returned to the entry door to seat us even though she saw us and the other guest standing there. The order came out to the table wrong and my spouse had to wait for the meal to be returned to the table. My burger arrived at the table as well and I noted (15) fries on the plate. That included the hard pieces that most people don't eat. I asked is this the correct amount of fries? No answer, but he commented that I can order a side of fries for you. He didn't wait for an answer...he just walked off. I sampled the fries and found that they were not crispy and kinda cool. The burger meat was so salty, that I didn't eat it. I asked on several occasions for a plate to go with the fajitas we ordered for the meal. I was advised that the plates were not available because they were dirty. We used the chips container until the guy brought over a plate. The lunch double burger meat was extremely salty. Hmmm, as opposed to answering my question as to the fries. The fries were somewhat warm and not very crispy as if freshly prepared for customer satisfaction. The server never returned to ask about our drink refills, if the meal was okay, more chips, if she could offer anything because she screwed up our entre order...nothing. It seems to me, that this restaurant and personnel don't need your money nor patronage.
2019: 5⭐: This was a great visit. The server from the bar was watching and attentive to our needs. He didn't forget things and checked in on us by slowly walking by giving us an opportunity to grab him...
Read moreHere is my second one for the night after me and my family were trying to go somewhere for my son's birthday and having a bad experience. On the positive side the kitchen did a good job and unlike the last place we visited, our drink orders were taken soon after being seated. Now, for the service related issues on this visit:

We were rushed through our drink and food orders When inquiring about a menu item, we were informed it was the same as usual and referred to the menu instead of having our question answered. 3.We had to ask for drink refills and in turn, we were told they would be taken care of when she had the time. 4.The food and drinks were rushed onto the table and there was no acknowledgement when an issue with one of the orders was brought up. 5.We were never thanked for our visit once the bill was paid and the receipt was left on the table We had not completely left our table before our server took the signed receipt and began cleaning up the table for the next customer.
I do not usually write such lengthy reviews, but this experience was a good example pf what a server should NOT do. All in all, it was a very rushed and very non personable experience. Makes a good case for staying home and...
