Called in a curbside order.
Ordered 3 things on 1 ticket. The girl was nice but didnt seem to be paying attention well, maybe she was trying to multitask. She asked me repeatedly to repeat myself on certain items or she would repeat it back but be the opposite of what I said... (for example: Sweet Tea with Lemon. "Sweet tea, no lemon?") this happened many times.
5 minute call, ended at 6:35pm. Was told 15 to 20 minutes. I arrived at 6:54pm. 19 minutes had passed.
A girl came out to give me a cookie from my order and the tea (which still didn't have lemon). I told her I needed it next time she came back. She came to tell me my order wasn't ready but to get payment anyways while I wait.
She returned with my ticket (and no lemon) and my ticket said 6:44pm. This means my ticket wasnt even printed until 9 minutes after my call ended. Which would explain more as to why it wasn't ready. So, I wait and finally at 7:14 [38 min] she delivers the food to me. Asks if I want the lemon and I said no because this has taken double the time it was supposed to. I had a babysitter and a 3 year old waiting on me.
I get home 20 minutes late to discover: No lemon, which I already knew. No dressing at all for the Southwest Salad. No extra Honey Mustard that I said twice and she repeated back to me twice. 2 cookies- she asked me "2 cookies?" I said, "No, 1" perhaps I got an extra for waiting..? But I'm not sure. It doesn't do anything for me because that 1 cookie was for the babysitter anyways so she got 2 cookies.
The printed ticket was correct, but the results were not.
No one was rude. They were, however; inefficient and wasted my time and the time of other people who were...
Read moreI’ve never had to leave a bad review for McAlisters. However, there’s a first time for everything. My order was simple. I ordered the ultimate nachos with NO jalapeño's, avocado, black olives or green onions. I stopped on the way home from work to pick up my order. Once I got home, I started putting my nachos together and realized I smelled jalapeños. Sure enough, there they were in with my cheese & chili. When I called the restaurant to let them know, The manager said “mam, there’s no jalapeño’s in that cheese or the chili” And I said the manager “I beg to differ. Not only can you smell them you can plainly see them. I don’t know if they were accidentally put in there when they put the shredded cheese & tomatoes on there or what, but I have jalapeño’s on my nachos” She then asked if I wanted to come back for a remake. I explained that restaurant was on my way home from work and not close to go back to for a remake. She said that she’d refund my money and I’d get an email. She handed the phone to an employee that took my name and then hung up the phone. Which I thought was very rude. Anyway, I’ve not been refunded like she said I would be. And I didn’t appreciate her arguing with me about the jalapeños being in my nachos. She needs to work on her customer...
Read moreThis is only my second time coming here. I actually live in the area and would rather go to the McAlister’s downtown Jackson MS instead. First time there was a fly in my daughter’s food and that wasn’t a big deal. The big deal was they kept getting the order wrong as they brought it back and had an attitude about it. How about check the plate before you lay it down and avoid the attitude from the jump! We wind up not eating and leaving. That was 2021 when we first moved to the area. They kept staring at me as they were making my daughter’s order over and it made me very uncomfortable. As if they were doing something to her food.
Here I am, here again with my husband and get to the counter to a young while lady named Brooke. The smirk on her face and nongreeting she gave us almost made me turn my butt around and eat elsewhere. She never signaled for me to come after the customers before me (who DID leave). I asked her if she was ready for me and she stared at me with the most disgusted “why are you here” look! She smirked with that unwelcoming attitude and said yeah. I told her, “ok because it didn’t look like you were!” She never switched her attitude or attention, it stayed the same! Just dry! Unwelcoming! She don’t...
