Chick-N-Burger — Restaurant in Folsom

Today, I had the pleasure of dining at Chicken-N-Burger Restaurant, My experience revolved around their chicken sandwich combo and a delightful dessert, the Tres Leches Cake. Upon entering Chicken-N-Burger, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was casual yet modern, creating a comfortable space for diners. I ordered the chicken sandwich combo, which included a crispy chicken sandwich served with fries and a drink. The sandwich itself was impressive; the chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy on the inside with a crispy exterior that provided an excellent texture contrast. The seasoning was spot-on, delivering just the right amount of flavor without overpowering the natural taste of the chicken. The fries were golden brown and seasoned well; they complemented the sandwich beautifully. They were crispy on the outside while remaining fluffy on the inside. Overall, my visit to Chicken-N-Burger was an enjoyable culinary experience. From the flavorful chicken sandwich combo to the indulgent Tres Leches Cake, every aspect of my meal exceeded expectations. The environment here feels like a typical fast-food restaurant. Bathrooms and lobby has unique and modern designs. Cleanliness was great no trash on the ground or tables!

Service (3.5/10)

Walking in I expected a person behind the counter happy to greet me. Instead I walked in and the cashier was sitting on his phone in the lobby while customers were eating. It being my first time here I didn't realize how lethargic the cashiers are! Eating here expect the cooks to clean, cook, and refill all the condiments while the cashiers relax!

I got the Nashville Chicken Sandwich combo and the sandwich was not what I was expecting! This sandwich just melts as if you're taking a bite out of a fish while keeping the crispy outside!  The fries, the fries are okay, nice and crispy to go along with the crispy yet soft chicken sandwich.

First time here the chicken sandwich was scrumptious and was full of heat and flavor with a side of crispy fries. The only thing discouraging me coming back is the service that the cashier provided, providing obviously fake smiles. All while the cook did an excellent job cleaning, cooking...

I was honestly expecting less out of a place that sells fried chicken and burgers. I got the chicken sandwich and it was really high quality. You could tell an actual chef with a vision and flavor profile designed the sandwich and sauces. They are far above the quality of a fast-food chicken sandwich, without diverging from a typical chicken sandwich recipe and becoming pretentious. The higher quality chicken, breading and buns made the sandwich standout without needing special ingredients or some sort of gimmick. It was just a very modern tasting, and high quality fried chicken sandwich. I tried all 3 sauces too, the pink sauce which feels like their standard one went really well on brioche, the spicy sauce definitely had a kick to it and was flavorful, but best of all their garlic aioli is an actually aioli and not just garlic mayo. Only the fries were lacking and even they were perfectly standard (and well cooked) all things considered. They just felt bland in comparison to how much flavor was in the sandwich and sauces, I think they should consider adding a seasoning...
