For family cheat meals we have a routine of either DoorDashing burgers or Mexican food. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised when my wife suggested that we physically visit a Thai restaurant located 45 minutes away from our home. Pulling into the parking lot we were greeted by a myriad of delicious smells (the restaurant shares a parking lot with Five Guys and a chicken establishment). Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by an employee who escorted us to a table.
While we perused the menu, Joy (server) enthusiastically greeted us (you could tell that she enjoys her job)and took drink orders. My wife ordered a glass of white wine, while my son ordered the Thai Iced Tea. For an appetizer, I ordered the Fried Thai Spring Rolls and the Spicy Fried Rice (No egg) as my entree. My wife ordered the Spicy Pompano, while my son chose the Boat Noodles.
The Fried Thai Spring Rolls were delicious and paired well with the dipping sauce. The Spicy Fried Rice was so freakin appetizing, lived up to its spicy name, had plenty of vegetables (that’s makes it healthy right?), and was large in portion. Joy did a great job of checking in on us and topping off my tween’s Thai Iced Tea (refills are included). Everyone delighted in their orders and we enjoyed that moment after you have a superb meal where you just pleasantly stare at one another with a big smile of satisfaction on your faces.
If you’re looking for delicious food paired with an engaging customer service experience, I highly recommend visiting Thai Paradise. I cannot wait to return and try their...
Read moreThough I love Thai food and also this restaurant, I am writing a negative review because of my experience today. My toddler was moving his legs which hit the foot board of the seat we were seated on and had some tapping noise. He was just being a toddler and not causing any nuisance to anybody. But the waiters seemed to have a problem with it and everyone passing our table kept asking him to stop it. And some of them even told us parents ( me and my husband) to make him stop doing it telling us they had other customers. We even obliged and asked our kid to stop doing it. He did stop but occasionally his legs did hit the foot board, unintentionally. And then one of the waiter walks to us and tells us we have to ask our kid to stop it else he would move us to another table as other customers are getting disturbed. I asked him if someone had complained and he told yes. So I told him my boy was just being a toddler and we couldn't expect him to sit still. And more over he was not cranky, crying or throwing any tantrum. He was most well behaved for a child and eating his dinner. If someone complained of this child, he (waiter) had to move them to a different table and not us. I wonder why this different treatment to different customers? I am very saddened by this behavior of adults who forget they were once children too. Parents be aware before you take your kids to this restaurant. And till the no one even apologized for their attitude towards us. I may not want to return here. I am sure there are more Thai restaurants in town to fulfill my Thai...
Read moreThai Paradise is one of our favorite spots—it's part of our regular weekend tradition, and we always leave happy. The food is consistently delicious, and they offer a number of vegan options, which I really appreciate. Many dishes can be made vegan, and they offer tofu as a protein choice. I typically get the spicy Thai fried rice with tofu and fresh spring rolls with tofu and peanut sauce, both of which are so flavorful and satisfying.
This time we were in the mood for something light, so I just ordered the spring rolls with tofu, and that was perfect. My husband decided to try something new—he ordered the chicken sa-tay skewers and skipped the rice to avoid carbs. When he saw the small side of veggies in a tiny cup, he looked at it and said, “That’s my veggies?” 😂 But he said the chicken was really good (I’ll take his word for it—I don’t eat chicken).
Normally the service at Thai Paradise is really good, but they were apparently having a bit of an off-day today, because they forgot to bring my spring rolls out until my husband was halfway through his meal. But that's not the norm, and we eat there almost every weekend.
Whether you're vegan, low-carb, or just love good Thai food, there's something for everyone here. The flavors are always spot on, the staff is friendly, and the whole experience is peaceful and welcoming. Highly...
