Update: My last bad review seemed to have sprung Ashely into action so letās try this again since they still owe me over $3000! Last week, Ashley brought our new bed and took the old one. The next day they called and asked if the new one was taken because they werenāt notified that it was at the warehouse. Luckily they got sorted out but itās just an example of how unprofessional this company is. I was told my refund should go through soon. It hasnāt and they said there was no number to call to check on this. Danny, the manager, is ignoring my husband and my calls to him. I also donāt know how we are getting our refund since we did some financing and put some money down and the woman at the front desk had no answer for me. This headache continues so please donāt shop here!
Original Review: If you are looking to buy a bed, do yourself a favor and go anywhere that isnāt Ashley! Most furniture places have a trial period with a money back guarantee, but not Ashley! Most of the beds they have you can get at other stores. The only ones that are unique are their Ashley Sleep beds, which our sales associate, Phillip, told us were bad quality and he would never sell them to anyone! We were sold the most expensive bed in the store and we hate it! We were told they are ācustomer forwardā and we wonāt be stuck with a bed we donāt like. Well we are! Itās been almost a month since we chose a bed to exchange the one we bought. Since then we have dealt with lies and horrible customer service. We still have no idea when we will get a refund and our new bed. We have to take their word for it that we will eventually get it. We tried to do just a full refund after this and get a bed elsewhere but that isnāt an option. Phillip, their number one sales associate, makes a bunch of promises and false excuses and doesnāt follow through. Danny, the store manager, takes no accountability and is downright rude. He hung on me when I was expressing my frustrations and told my husband ādonāt be mad at me, broā. But we were āluckyā to even get to speak to someone from the store as they outsource their calls to a call center and thereās no store number online. I visited the store on 12/21 and was greeted by Gary. I came in to preview dining tables and chairs and had a specific idea of what I was looking for. Gary allowed me to browse at my own pace, which I appreciated. Then I realized I donāt enjoy furniture shopping for long, so it was a relief when Gary stepped in to assist. He immediately knew which tables and chairs to show me. I decided on a mix of chairs and obtained a quote from him. I wasn't ready to purchase that day so he saved it for me while I went home to research.
I came back on 12/30 ready to purchase. I found the exact table and chairs online that was cheaper (on Levin), which Gary mentioned that he will price match. However, I never brought it up because Gary had a better deal for me. Overall I'm happy. Gary let me review my order and verify the amount before approving. I didn't feel pressured to buy and I like that I got to sleep on it before making a big purchase. Also the checkout process was very quick and to the point.
If everything goes well with the delivery then l would return to purchase other items.

Everything went smoothly. The dining set was wrapped in moving blankets, and the delivery team was careful when bringing the items in and assembling the dining table. There were no issues.
My only suggestion would be to have tools ready to remove staples from under the dining table and to hammer in any stray nails, as the delivery team didn't carry these tools.
This was a much better experience compared to a different furniture store, whose delivery team scratched my walls and tracked mud everywhere.
I also received a follow-up call from Ashley corporate right after the delivery to check on the status and to answer any questions. That was a thoughtful touch.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered a beige/pewter couch and loveseat. It was delivered on 8/25/23 by two men who couldnāt speak or understand English. We tried to tell them it wasnāt what we ordered. The set received was grey. They dropped our set and practically ran out and became irritated when we tried to tell them no it wasnāt what we ordered. Went to Ashley next day and explained to Omar and manager the problem. The sofa was also broken on side where recliner buttons are. They said to pick another sofa and they didnāt see a problem exchanging it but needed to get approved and would call us within 48 hours. No one called so after 3 days I called. Omar said he would call us next day and didnāt. The following day I called and the next day and left messages for him and manager. I also text. I was Trying to find out what Ashley is going to do to make this right? Today September 1, 2023 still no one has contacted us. Our set was $2,500. They told me it was lighting and the couch is not grey. It is totally grey nothing beige/pewter about it no matter what light I put it under. They totally deceived us and have ignored us since. I am highly disappointed in this company and how they do business. Iām not giving up will be reporting them to BBB and more if not rectified which by the looks of things thus far is how itās going. People work hard for what they need and this is unacceptable to do this to their customers.
