Wow! This is an unbelievably unfriendly place! We have been to several Noah's Bagels, and have never been treated remotely as poorly as we were at this Noah's. I have a disability, use a cane, and cannot walk for long distances without severe pain and needing to sit down periodically. My 23 year old son and I walked into this Noah's Bagels on Palladio Parkway in Folsom, Ca last Monday early afternoon, June 20th, 2022. There was no one in the or outside (now maybe we know why). I ordered coffee and my son ordered two bagel dogs. There were three young people working. One was a caucasian or hispanic guy with long, thick black hair, one was a black girl with her hair pulled back (seemed like maybe the manager), and one was a white girl with straight brown hair. I now wish we would have gotten their names but these descriptions are accurate. The girl with the straight brown hair barely acknowledged our presence as we ordered and paid for our items. She and the guy were talking about something non work related and she basically ignored us. The guy was actually pretty nice and was the only one of the three who was somewhat friendly. The other two weren't. We tipped the brown haired girl who rang us up, and she just kind of looked at us blankely and did not respond when we said thank you. It was so strange!! Then we sat down briefly so I could rest my leg. I took a few sips of coffee and my son ate a couple bites of his bagel dog. We were there less than two minutes when the female employee (who seemed to be the manager or asst manager), aggressively approached us rather loudly and scoldingly said "You can't be in here, we're not open!" Well, they most definitely were open, there was no one else in the place and there was no reason for her to act this way. We were shocked by her rough demeanor and hostility and we just looked at her, but said nothing. The guy and the girl with the straight brown hair looked a little embarrassed by how the manager type person with the black hair was treating us. She then repeated herself, this time more aggressively. It was unbelievable! I then said, are you kidding me? There are tables and chairs here, there are no other customers in here, there are no signs indicating you are closed, and you just took our orders! What are you talking about? She then approached us, inches away with her chest puffed out, shoulders raised, and very hostily said, "we are closed and you need to leave." WTH??? They were NOT closed! This was bizarre. My son then helped me up and even though I was in a lot of pain and really would have liked to sit a little longer, we left, while the aggresive female employee with the black hair pulled back, folded her arms in front of her defiantly, and scowled at us as we left. The other two employees looked somewhat sheepish and embarrassed be her behavior. I can only imagine how unpleasant it must be to work with this angry and mean person. She was absolutley awful and absolutely rude. We will NEVER go back to this Noah's bagels, and implore others to not either, unless they have a penchant for being abused for absolutely no reason AT ALL! By the way, this person who treated a disabled person this was should be fired immediately, and I am sure that what she did was illegal according to the Americans with...

Read moreI’m a regular here. I’ve ordered online and in person. My beef with this location is their inability to define and monitor the line. The ordering line is are a hot mess. Willy nilly, free for all.
It was again that way, when I walked in a few days ago. The only register used was the one to the right of the bagel counter. Sure enough, for one open register they had two lines. One perpendicular and another horizontal. I asked both folks about the line and they answered that they were in line to order. Good grief. This interaction forced them to work out who’s next before the cashier called out while myself fending off line cutters. Ordering a bagel shouldn’t be such a chore. It is here. It’s a live social experiment.
The bagels are darn delicious though. My faves are pretzel, chocolate chip, and Asiago. The pretzel bagel is made with baking soda and not lye. The baking soda still gives the pretzel bagel that pretzel taste and dark, crackly crust. It’s topped with rock salt. Not overwhelming salty. The chocolate chip bagel is not too sweet, perfect amount of mini chips. The asaigo is a good blend of a plain bagel with the cheese topping. Get here early though. This place is a bakery so once they sell out, that’s it...
