I have tried and tried to give this Chilis a chance over the last six years. We went tonight and nope.
First they invite us to sit in whatever booth we want in the bar. Great! first one filthy second one filthy third one OK but all the crumbs in the seat could be wiped off. Not my job but had to do that or put it on my butt.
Order appetizer chips with three dips. Guacamole tasted similar to what you find in a squeeze bag from Walmart. The only thing is that Walmart doesn’t have avocado strings through it. Fail. Salsa super sour fail. queso could’ve been good if it would’ve been hot. Chips burnt to a crisp.
10 minutes into our appetizer, they seat someone directly behind us who smell like they fell out of a smoking train. I don’t know how anyone could possibly smoke that much to smell that bad. We’re up we’re moving. Move around the corner to get away from the stench. Food comes.
Boy where do we start. I got the triple combo barbecue, whatever… Sausage wasn’t even cut looks like something from sausage party… Definitely not what the picture shows. Honey chipotle crispers not really crisp more like soft and flat with no sauce on it whatsoever. Fail. Bread was hard as a rock. The brisket quesadillas horrible. Absolutely horrible. Nothing in it burnt to a crisp. Street corn soggy I didn’t know corn can get that soft. Maybe they’re just catering to the locals with no teeth…
The other order was a burger well done. How is it that if it’s well done, you cut into it and the thing bleeds from the center. Gross. If I wanted it bloody, I would’ve stabbed myself… White cheddar mac & cheese could’ve been good, but was cold on arrival. All this and boy let me tell you the staff there must’ve been beaten like a poor abandoned dog. No one in that place ever smiles.
$58 and you want to tip? Took us forever to get our check just to find out that the kiosk that we were supposed to be using doesn’t even work. Thank you for that.
This place should be shut down. I know that the new Popeyes around the corner people seem to think it’s expensive, but it’s not more expensive than Chili’s and it’s 10 times the chicken.
Our waitress wanted to know how it was and I blatantly told her it was horrible. Did she offer to help? Did she offer to replace any food? Did she offer to get a manager? no no no and no… If you don’t want to know the answer, don’t ask the question. Enjoy your dollar tip. I think the girl who brought the food from the kitchen was working harder than you playing on your computer.

Read moreIf you're wanting or expecting a great meal, don't eat here. The food isn't good, and food like steak, you can't even eat it's so tough. And in my experience. I ordered a drink with my dinner, but the drink I received wasn't what I ordered. It didn't look right, but I taste-tested it. I don't know what that was, but it wasn't what I ordered. After informing the waitress, she took the drink back to the bar. Then, the Waitress brought back the drink along with the correct drink. When leaving, they got loud about the wrong drink. She told me I had to pay for that wrong drink because it was what I ordered to begin with. I said, no. I didn't order whatever that drink was she served me. But, because I don't care to make a scene, and don't want any part of such. I paid for it, knowing the waitress lied and did serve the wrong drink, and the bartender, who was also the assistant manager, was completely wrong in the way she handled it, got loud, etc. And really for no reason. I didn't even raise my voice. I said, I disagree with you, and here, I'll pay for it. Not worth the argument, but I will not be back. After reading many reviews here. I came up with a conclusion: if you're drinking several drinks while dining, you will get tipsy, the waitresses will be very polite, and I even saw a bit of flirtation with customers. Nothing wrong with that, in my opinion. That's why you find good reviews. They are too tipsy, having a good time, and don't know if the food is good or not, I bet many don't even know if they ate the food, maybe only a bite or two. Oh, the drink I ordered was sweet tea with lemon. The drink the waitress served was, I think, maybe Long Island Iced Tea. Which is why once I tasted it, and I don't drink alcohol, I knew there was no way I...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a dine in restaurant. Three adults and one child. Two adults ordered endless soup and salad, which was prompt.
The other adult and child waited for over an hour without a refill or receiving their food. Finally after an hour, the adults food came out, but by then the other two adults had eaten and the child was hangry, so we told them to take it back and we planned to leave.
I told the waitress that the child hadn't received their food, and her response was that "it had to be cooked, unlike the soup/salad". This was after we had been waiting for an hour, eating chips to keep ourselves occupied.
We asked to speak to the manager, and were very polite. However, he did not seem to care at all and didn't refund the whole price for the adult and the child's meal. The waitress showed up to our table once to take our order, and never again. We had to ask the hostess for a refill after sitting on empty for over thirty minutes.
Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had. I am understanding when it is busy or you're low staffed, but for both the waitress and the manager to not show any care whatsoever just rubbed me...
