I would like to share feedback regarding a recent experience at this McDonald’s location. I placed an order at the drive-thru, carefully confirming the items on the screen. At no point was I informed that I was receiving a large meal, and my husband, who was with me, also confirmed that I did not request one.
When I went inside to clarify the discrepancy, I approached the situation politely and respectfully. My intent was not to seek a refund, but simply to bring awareness to the issue so that future customers would not encounter the same difficulty. Unfortunately, the interaction with the manager, Wendy, left me disappointed. Instead of listening and clarifying, she immediately discarded my food as if I had requested my money back, which was not the case.
As a store manager myself, I would never imagine treating a customer that way — especially within earshot of them. While I remained courteous throughout the exchange, I could clearly hear unprofessional remarks being made in the back. This is not reflective of the standard of service I would expect from Wendy’s.
A $4 upcharge may not seem significant, but to some customers it could mean the difference between being able to purchase a meal or not. That is why it is so important to handle these situations with patience, professionalism, and understanding. I truly hope this feedback is taken constructively so that service at this location can improve.
And manager Wendy, if you’re reading this, my dearest you are in the wrong industry you’re clearly miserable and making everyone around you miserable too and as it turns out “ I’m not dealing with her”...
Read moreTheir sign claims "Fastest Drive Through." There were no cars in line when I got there. I ordered a Quarter Pounder with cheese and a medium coffee. I pulled to the window and paid. All three "Reserve" spots were full with cars waiting for orders. She had me wait until two reserve spaces cleared so I could pull up to Reserve #1. After a while I saw an employee leaving the side of the car at Reserve #3 and come over to me with a small bag. "Quarter with cheese?" I said yes and took the bag. At some point they brought the coffee, but it was bitter and cold, so I had asked for it to be replaced. When an employee came by I flagged her down, as the bag contained a large fry not a Quarter Cheese. She took the fries. They came with the hamburger and said they were making fresh coffee so it would be a few minutes. Two different cars were served and left from Reserve #3. Finally the coffee arrived. She was blatantly calling customers liars when they are saying their food is wrong!! I had to send my food back 3 times on 1 visit!! Her response to my Quarter Pounder w/cheese Not having the MEAT on it was "I heard the order being placed and the sandwich was a Qtr Pounder with NO MEAT!!!! RIDICULOUS!! I asked for it to be made fresh wit no salt and no pickles. 1 had tomatoes and lettuce, 1 was a bun with ONLY cheese and the 3rd was made right but NOT fresh!! When I paid, the young lady said the receipt machine was not working so when the Mgr was calling me a liar about my order, I record the amount I paid (definitely the right AMT of money was taken, she then said the girl was new and probably missed items that were missing....ALL SHE had to do was make sands right and give me my receipt printed from another register!!
