This morning on my way to work I stopped by McDonald’s located at 2125 Mt. Zion Parkway Morrow, GA 30260. This was my first time at this location that I can remember and to be honest I never really have high expectations when I go to McDonalds because I have not experience the best customer service in the past. The customer service is not always bad but often time’s good customer service does not happen often. This morning I ordered an egg white delight with regular bacon. The customer service at the window was great and the service was fast. Once I arrived at work I realized that my order was not correct and immediately became upset. I then decided to call McDonald’s to inform them they got my order wrong. I was truly expecting to act ugly because I was sure that whoever answered the phone was going to appear to not care and tell me to come back later with the sandwich to get another. Oh I was ready! Well that was not my experience Mr. Harrison Koger (Manager) answered the phone he Listened to my complaint, apologize for the error and made no excuses. Mr. Koger asked me where my job was located and I immediately started telling him it’s too late I’ll be late for work if I have to come back. Mr. Koger then stated “No I’m going to bring the sandwich to you”. He not only brought me the correct hot fresh sandwich his spirit was so humble and he apologized to me again. I asked him for his name because I was speechless and in shock he did not want to provide me with his name because he stated “it was his job to ensure that the customer was happy” I almost had to beg him for his name. This was so powerful to me because it allowed me to truly see that in order to truly be Successful at work, home, school, marriage whatever it is important to give one hundred percent and to be a servant leader. In order to change the view that people have of your brand the responsibility lies on every single moving part. Thanks Mr. Koger for not only making my day but you have forever change my stereotypical mind of McDonald’s customer service and I wish you much Success...
Read moreThis location is always a hit or miss. Sometimes the line is wrapped around the building and you end up waiting 20+ minutes to go all the way through the drive thru…or it’s empty, they’re fast & you get warm food (but never hot food). The last visit I placed a mobile order to be picked up at the counter at 11pm. The app allowed me to choose “counter” inside the restaurant. I chose this because the drive thru line was around the entire building. I park and walk up to the door and try to open it and it’s locked. I see about 3 or 4 employees just sitting in the dining area and one guy looks at me and makes a hand gesture telling me I have to drive through the drive thru. I shook my head no and tried to explain through a glass window that my order was inside. Again he just pointed at me to drive around. I angrily go to the drive thru and have to now wait behind several cars just to get to the speaker. When I get to the speaker box the woman on the intercom says she can’t see my mobile order. I tell her it’s supposed to be for pickup inside but they would not allow me in. She tells me I have to go to the second window. So I continue to wait in line for about 20 minutes before I finally reached the second window and received my order. My food was barely warm as usual. It’s ridiculous that you cannot change your pickup method or cancel your order on the app. I placed the order and not even 5 minutes later it would not allow me to cancel it. It was frustrating to see so many employees just sitting in the dining room not helping when the restaurant is obviously extremely busy. If they are off the clock they need to not be seen. It’s a bad look for...
Read moreThe new night Manager Sara is rude. I went tonight after my son told me not to because their service has become very poor and they treat their customers like they are stealing. I was wondering how they can do such a thing when coming through drive thru. Well little do I know I was about to be treated the same way. I paid for my food to pull up to the next window and be asked did I order 3 Mc doubles. My reply back is no i had 2 #9's a fruit punch slashie, Mc flurrie and sweet tea. Sara looks at me and tell the guy at the window to get my receipt to check to be sure. My son starts to say I told you so. So I'm like they are just making sure I get the right order. Still calm not thinking anything of it. Then she give the guy at the window my drinks and that when everything goes left. She tries to give me a coke and I order a sweet tea then my Mc flurrie had cookie dust and when I ask for more she began to tell me to pay for more. However the guy who is passing out the food tries to fix it and she like no im the manager. I go to tell her theirs no cookies really and she say it because she stirred it. I'm showing and telling her that's not how it look. She tells him she's the manager and no while he's trying to give me another one she has already made the right way. I then told her that word to mouth is the worst thing that someone can do for a restaurant. She then began to yell at me thur the window. Very unprofessional and something...
