Let me start by saying my problem is not the food. it's the service, or lack of service. No I didn't want some extravagant gesture or anything for free/discount, all I wanted was my food I already paid for so I could start my long journey home to get up early for work the next day.
I ordered on the app. Just wanted a quick sandwich to hold me over after coming from the airport before I drove an hour and a half home. I ordered at 9:30pm. Got there (@9:38) and the drive through line( where I was going to pick up my food) was soo long. I called the inside like 3 times before I got someone ( All 3 times words before the 10 PM closing time of chick fil a and while the drive'sful line was still long so I know people were there). I told here I already ordered and just wanted to pick up my food (a sandwhich) but the drive thru line looked like it would take way too long And push back my travel time I already have to get up early for work the next day. I Ask her if I could walk to the door and get it if someone could bring it to the door to meet me, ( It was raining so I wasn't trying to make them out of their way I just want to simply get my food) or they could bring it to the car or what ever. She said no, I would have to sit in the long drive through line. While I was in the line spoke 2 other people and told them the exact same thing. Mentioned to them that I was willing to walk up to the front and get my food, whatever they needed me to do, I just wanted my food so I could start eating and I could leave. They proceed to tell me all kinds of things like the inside had been closed for an hour ( Which really had no Bearing on what I was asking, Besides that's why I offered to pick it up at the door.) Or that what did I expect, I was in a fast food drive through line. Did I mention while I was there In the drive through Avengers to the front and one of the same people that I spoke to who had told me that what did I expect it was a drive through line stood there and took her order and then later it heard told me that she had already ordered previously. Even if it true, that was the same situation I was in so why could she get her food and I couldn't. He later walked her foot over to her.
All of this makes no sense to me. I ordered my food on the app before the cut off time ( 30 minutes before in fact). I wasn't asking anyone to go the extra mile for me, I was willing to do all the walking myself just to get my food. And I had already paid for the food so it wasn't like they needed to get the money from me in the transaction. I don't understand why I simply couldn't get what I ordered. All in all the way through the driving line added another 35-40 minutes to my already long trip. I mean at least I have food in my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreā” This is still my favorite location near me, but for a while now, I've noticed the service quality has gone down some. I use the app and there would be occasional issues with the app (only at this location), but it's been a few months since I've had any issues - granted, I haven't been going as often as before.
ā” This location started getting busier and busier inside, esp in the mornings (I honestly hate going there in the mornings before work) and now, what used to be a quick pickup takes almost as much time as going through the drive-thru sometimes.
ā” There have been 2 or 3 times when I ordered a salad on the app, get there and there's no base salad left to make my order.
ā” The food is usually good though, taste wise.
ā” But the salads can be skimpy sometimes. I've seen a customer complaining to other customers at this location about that, I personally know someone that complains about that at this location, and although I usually never complain, the last salad I bought there was lacking in the greenage department - Idk if the entire salad filled even half the container.
ā” And sometimes, no matter how long you're waiting, you have to reach out to one of the employees to ask about something, rather than them taking notice of how long you've been waiting and offer assistance. They can be good about taking initiative and quickly helping too, but there are times when they really can do better.
ā” So to recap, this location is usually good, but needs to work on long-term consistency. It gets very busy, esp in the mornings, causing long wait times inside the restaurant. They struggle with lettuce availability at times, but the quality is still good - although the quantity may not always meet the expectations of some.
ā” I recommend this location. It's not the best one I've been to, and a bit smaller than some others, but it's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have to start this review with an honest admission, with the exception of their hash brown casserole, grilled nuggets, grilled chicken sandwich, I'm not a Chick-fil-A fan. I really just do not have what apparently is a born in southern desire for Chick-fil-A. Maybe it's cuz I was born in East Tennessee moved to Georgia 35 years ago, but it's my last choice of place to eat ever. So with that true isn't being said, it is obvious I have not eaten at this particular location.
Moving on ...
When I am there it is because I am picking up for either DoorDash or Uber Eats to deliver an order. Some days it's ready the minute I walk in the store, other days I might wait 5 to 20 minutes or more. And if I'm waiting other customers who are also waiting on orders to carry out or also waiting. This is true regardless of the day of the week, regardless of whether they're busy in store or not, and even during those rare occasions when they're drive-thru is not busy.
We all know the food is basically the same from one location to another as far as taste and appearance, so forth. So therefore the difference in ratings for those people who do eat here will have more to do with service and how fast they get their food, then it will the actual food.
For the record most Chick-fil-A's I've ever picked up from or about the same, some are...
