Cristina's Fine Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Forney

We have been coming here for years but the other day was so off putting I don't know if I will be back. . It was on the later side I will give you that it was a little past 830 PM when we arrived but Google says it closed at 10 PM (I don't like to be that person that comes in at closing time) it took a little bit to Get someone to notice us were they had seated us but we did get to get drink orders and food order st the same time ... it took him longer then 10 mins to bring 2 ice tea's the greasy old chips and salsa followed that with someone else ... then food finally came food and it seemed like it was what ever was left over my husbands nachos were soggy and the fajita meat was dry and chewy my salad was just ok and unrememberable ... about 2 bits on to our food the waiter came over and started "you all don't need anything else do you, the kitchen is closed" we said um I guess not then ... he dropped off the check a minute later ... we left at 915ish and as we and the other 2 tables walked out they turned the closed sign on ... so much for closing at 10pm that night we can take the hint ps I am still waiting for a refill on our ice tea's 2 something is a little pricey for just...

They don't deserve any stars. We had stopped going to Christina's several months ago because we waited a long time for our food and they were not busy and the food came to us cold on an ice cold plate. Well we thought we would give them another try Saturday October 7, 2017 and there were 8 adults in our party and not busy again. Low and behold we waited over 45 minutes for our food an again everyone's food came cold. Some of us ordered the fajita nachos and they came in a very cold plate and cold that the cheese was not even melted, we sent them back along with 4 other dishes and again waited 15 minutes and they came in the same condition cold. The manager came over and offered to redo the orders and we said they didn't get it right 2 times in a row that we didn't want to wait again we had already been ther over 90 minutes. They gave us a discount and we paid our bill and tipped the waitress. She didn't want to take a tip but it was not her fault as she dit her best to take care of us. I went on a Monday right after they opened. Sat in the lobby for 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. A waiter came finally and without a word sat me and left. He came back and took my drink order, a frozen peach margarita, looking annoyed the whole time. He left abruptly before I could tell him that I wanted to order an appetizer. Later he brought back a margarita but it wasn't the one I ordered I didn't want to deal with his annoyed and inconvenienced attitude so I drank it anyway and let it go. He did not bring water or ask if I needed anything else to drink while I was there (let it be known that I was only 1 of 2 people in the whole restaurant) and came back to give me my check at the end. I was charged for a swirl margarita that was almost $11 when that wasn't what I ordered...a $25 LUNCH when it was just me.
