Dillas Quesadillas — Restaurant in Forney

I had two encounters with this restaurant in the short time they been open and both of them have been absolutely terrible. The first incident February 2nd 2024 was involving a Door Dash order. They let the driver sit for over an hour. While all this was going on I decided to drive up there, when I got there the food was still not done and driver was still waiting. After talking to a manager it was revealed the entire order got skipped along with several others who were also waiting. The manager had a very unapologetic attitude and was acting as if this situation was just inconveniencing her. The second incident happened today February 11th. The door was open and when I stepped inside a male manager told me they were closed for the superbowl. I made a comment about who this is the second time this place has let me down now and that I’m going to leave them a bad review. His attitude was uncaring and also like the other manager I delt with, very unapologetic. He said that’s fine when I told him about me leaving a bad review. Also, I don’t know of any other business in Forney especially food service that was closed for the Super Bowl. Secondly if you are closed, lock your doors. I shouldn’t have been able to walk inside. The low rating here is entirely due to the time it took to receive my order and the pickup experience. I placed my order at 7:31 on a Friday evening, online order said it would be ready at 7:51PM. As I was walking into the store I was greeted by another customer leaving empty handed saying “good luck”. After waiting until 8:10, I asked about my order and was told “they were making it now”. I had to ask for my order one more time at 8:30 and finally got it. Order took an hour from placing it to get it.

The order was mostly correct when I got home. Our cheese fries were missing the jalapeños we paid extra for and my wife’s quesadilla was subbed chicken for steak and it was wrong. Food was delicious however.

There were multiple other online orders and door dash orders that had to wait an unbelievable amount of time to get their food. It seemed like the orders made in store were getting prioritized, multiple people that came in afterwards placed their orders in person got them long...

The food here has so much potential. The people are super friendly and the place is brand new. I want to start off by saying the food I did eat was delicious but there needs to be some changes.

The reason I didn’t give this 5 stars stems from two major things: Cross contamination. My guac sauce had a piece of chicken in it. The cheese here is SALTY. The chips and queso I ordered was quite salty, and the cheese in the quesadillas is also very salty. I’d guess it’s some form of Oaxaca cheese.

Additionally they’d forgot to add the creamy churri sauce to my order. I’d ordered quesadillas, chips, and the gorilla fries to try with some coworkers and we all noticed it was a very salty cheese and didn’t have sauces in some of our quesadillas.

I’m being more critical of this spot since it clearly advertises vegan and vegetarian options so cross contamination should be taken more seriously. Didn’t touch the guac sauce after noticing that and lost...
