A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Fort Collins

If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. I have eaten at bad fast food establishments before, but nothing like this. The girl at the front counter was nice, but the rest of the staff looked dirty and unprofessional. The guy handling food wasn't wearing gloves and had his hat lightly planted on his head with his hair all hanging down in front of his face. The entire store was absolutely dirty as can be. Not to mention you can't even lock the men's restroom. Tables, seats/cushions, and even the restrooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. THAT'S NOT ALL! The waiting time of 20+ minutes when it was semi-busy is terrible. The employees seemed like they could care less how long it took to get orders out. Except the guy who failed to wear proper gloving and hat gear to keep from contamination. He was fine grabbing food from trays for orders after wiping his sweat away and touching his hair with his bare hands. And so, of course, they couldn't get the order right. How hard is it to read the orders? We had to ask twice for missing food and received mac & cheese instead of mashed potatoes and gravy. The food was terrible. The mac & cheese tasted old, and our fries were undercooked and soggy. I noticed a lot of customers waiting for their food for long periods of time and having to come back up to replace or ask for missing or incorrect orders. Not to mention the staff noticeably became frsuatrated with customers and blamed the customer instead of their own wrong doing. As we are leaving, I attempt to get a refill of A&W Rootbeer, and it was out. I approached the counter and the man (I presume was the shift manager on duty) claims he would go check and see. Never came back after I stood at the front counter for 5-10min. Next thing I know, he's in the back playing with the frying and food equipment and ignored me, even after he glanced at me knowing why I was standing there. My guess is they ran out of Rootbeer and he didn't want to have to deal with an angry customer. Probably because they're all too lazy to make it. I WILL AND WOULD NOT recommend this establishment to anyone! And they want $15/hr?...

I went through the drive thru to order got asked to park. I parked and then a few others parked and the lady with shorter hair gave my 42 dollar meal away to someone else and so I was waiting for half and hour at this point. Then the gentleman that took my order came out and tried to fix. He told me to come in and speak to his manager. So I go inside the manger wouldn’t come talk to me she made the person that messed up and gave my food away to someone else come talk to me. So then they remake my order so now I’m waiting for about 45 minutes by now. After they remade my order they didn’t even give all of the food. Biscuits were missing. The coleslaw was warm. The chili cheese dog was spilled all over my food. When I took the breading off the chicken, THE CHICKEN WAS GREEN!! The stuff we did try to eat gave us food poisoning been sick ever since eating there last night. Visited this location about a year ago and walked out as a bunch of people were waiting with frustration for over 20 minutes for their food to come out. The place was falling apart. 1 year later, same exact scenario, but decided to wait for some ice cream. Many people walking out or waiting way too long. Staff could not figure out normal job functions at the cash register. The kitchen is very filthy and disorganized. The root beer float had the wrong proportion of ice cream to soda...something that should be easy to prepare as it is their specialty. The place needs new ownership or management before the health inspector closes them down. Additionally, I never thought I would hear innapropriate current R&B music over the speakers at a 1950s style restaurant that should be playing oldies genre music.
