I appreciate a good bakery, and this is top notch. I have sampled 2 breads, one cake, and two cookie varieties, and I am fully convinced. The Calabrian Walnut cake is like what you'd find in an old world European bakery--- I would say this is less like a cloyingly sweet american cake pop/cup cake shop, and more like a true bakery where the talent and artistry of the baker is evident and the quality of the ingredients comes through more than just an overly sweet treat or bland bread. My 5 year old is also sold (especially loves the buckwheat chocolate chip cookie), and I am currently trying to stop eating a loaf of whole wheat sourdough. Read moreTastes like MOLD. MOLD? REALLY? NOT FOOD SAFE?? I was there yesterday and microwaved a pot pie for lunch. IT TASTES LIKE MOLD. I took a refrigerated item and promptly retuned it to refrigeration. I warmed it today. AWFUL/DANGEROUSE. I am not a picky eater. I took the first bite. The second bite, I spit out and rest of the pot pie went right in the trash. I cant recall in the last dacades that I was given food that tasted like mold.
