Long John Silver's | KFC — Restaurant in Fort Gratiot Charter Township

First of all I love there fish and shrimp combos meals there, but recently I’ve become very frustrated with the deep fryers being closed for cleaning at 12:30 in the afternoon, this was the second time this had happened around the same time so I couldn’t order any fish or shrimp. When I asked the first time why are you cleaning the fryers in the middle of lunch hour they had no good answer! And today it happened again April 14th at the Kraft rd location again! I was so frustrated I called the restaurant after I got home and talked to a supervisor and explained what happened not once now but twice, I’m not a restaurant owner or manager but find this happening twice within a 3 week period is to much of a coincidence. Her suggestion was for me to call the restaurant before I come next time to make sure the fryers are working for the long john silver products. This suggestion makes me wonder about the management and practices and when not to clean the fryer like 12:30 in the afternoon on a Friday ! Frustrated customer, fyi they suggested to me to come back in 30 minutes! Is this good...

The experience i had at Long John Silver's Restaurant was absolutely phenomenal!!!! I ordered the 3 chicken plank dinner plus adding a piece of chicken!! I also had two hush puppies plus wedges and a glass of ice water. My husband had the same, plus he had a piece of fish and a cherry Pepsi. THEY WERE DELICIOUS AND WELL WORTH THE TRIP OF FINDING WHERE I COULD FIND THEM AGAIN!!! I will be back, and, so will my husband with me!!! Ms. Destiny and the other girls, and gentleman, working there were so NICE TO ME!!! I dearly needed that, since it was a long trip up there, approximately 52 minutes.😁😁😉😉BUT WELL WORTH THE DRIVE AND TRAVELING TO GET THERE!!!!The lady's were so kind, patient with me (and my hubby), so WONDERFULLY respectful to us both and it WAS SO APPRECIATED!!!! The place was SO CLEAN, NICE, and SO WELL ORGANIZED!!!! MY COMPLIMENTS TO EVERYONE WORKING THERE. I LEFT WITH A 32 PIECE CHICKEN PLANK DINNER FOR TWO. BELIEVE ME, IT WILL BE WELL EATEN AND WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN. THANK YOU SO VERY...

Placed an order thru drive thru, was asked to pull ahead and wait. After waiting, found that our order was incorrect. They left off 3 items. Had also ordered an "add a piece of chicken"..it was extremely small and overcooked. Went inside to correct order..cashier then charged me for an additional add a chicken when I had already paid for it! Once I got my"corrected order" I bit into the chicken plank and it was TOUGH AND OVERCOOKED as if it had been sitting and just reheated or something. The worst thing about all this is that no one even attempted to extend any good customer service..no free soda, not a cookie.. nothing. Didn't even appear to even care. I NEVER write reviews, but THIS EXPERIENCE...
