I went to Carrot Express for the B1G1 promotion. The staff told me it was only available through Uber Eats. Before placing the order, I even showed them the address and asked them to confirm it was the correct location—they said yes. After I placed the order and was charged $24, they told me they didn’t see it and then said it was at the wrong location.
This was very frustrating because they kept confirming things and being wrong each time. Then they told me to cancel the Uber order, pay $17 at the store I was at, and that I would get the money back from Uber. They spoke as if they knew this for sure, but when I contacted Uber, I was told I would not be getting a refund.
In the end, I had to pay twice for essentially the same order—$24 through Uber Eats and another $17 at the store. Because of their repeated mistakes and wrong assurances, I lost money and wasted time. Very...
Read moreAbsolute joke. I tried this place twice now already and so unsatisfied with the portion size.. I paid for only a bowl with tip included which came out to $25. Yet the portion size of chicken and kale and everything else is minuscule. Maybe four little pieces of penny sized chicken. For $25 !This place is the biggest rip off I’ve ever seen - not only being the most expensive priced bowls out there but then giving you hardly anything inside of it. as I mentioned I tried this place twice thinking that maybe the first time was just a bad day, but no, the second time the portion size was even worse. It’s too bad cause I really had high hopes for this place seeing as it’s right around the corner just five minutes from me. It could have been my new go to lunch spot. Can’t wait to see when this place fail hard and closes down within a year or less. I’ll be betting on your close, bye...
Read moreThe food here is great! The service is ok, they seem more focused on serving each other than the customers. It’s almost like they are forced to man the registers. The place is on the cleaner side, I would say acceptable cleanliness and it has an open airy vibe. Very classy. The food is of high quality, though extremely pricey. You are getting a decent portion size for what you order. I would recommend this place for an occasional healthy treat. The desserts looked great although I did not try one. This meal cost roughly $30 and the register prompted for a tip, though you have to order at the counter. With a 20 percent tip, you’re looking at $36 for a poke...
