Huge THANK YOU to this location. My bf and I came to Ft. Lauderdale for his bday weekend. The key to this story however is my BF and I started casually dating during Covid. So for his first bday, since nothing was open I bought a small chocolate bundlette and a candle and gave it to him whiles we were just sitting in the car. Fast forward 4 years I have gotten him a chocolate Bundt cake every year. So now on the day of his bday I ordered NBC via UberEats and arranged with our hotel to do a nice set up in the room when we were out to do a surprise. At the time of the scheduled delivery I checked Uber only to see my ordered was canceled. Immediately I called this NBC to see what the issue was, turned out it was Ubers fault. I really wish I remembered the girl I spoke to but she was so nice, I explained to her the situation and how important this was and she worked with her manager to basically order a rush delivery directly with them. So I called the hotel gave them the update and went along my way. When we get back to our hotel room the Bundt -letter cakes were there but get this there was a full size Bundt cake from the store. We were shocked, surprised, and touched. I did not get to visit the store in person but I just want to say a HUGE thank you. Thank you for helping me keep my surprise for my bf but also thank you for helping me continue what will hopefully be many years of this...
Read moreI received a card in the mail offering a free mini bundt cake, so I combined a trip to Whole Foods with having cake. Yay! A very nice salesperson, Camille, gave me a tour of their offerings and I was pleasantly surprised. They have about a dozen cake flavor choices including Red Velvet, Carrot Cake, White Chocolate & Raspberry, and Chocolate Chocolate Chip. I was assured the chips in the latter were real chocolate. Prices seem fair compared to shopping for ingredients and cooking for hours. And if it's for company, what if your cake falls and you try to cover it up with icing, like the old I Love Lucy shows? Better to buy it here! The gorgeous-looking cakes come in different sizes and can be personalized with all kinds of topical (and tropical) decorations. They have a nice, refrigerated selection on hand if you need a dessert right away. I chose a lemon mini bundt cake to try their wares, which has their signature, not-too-sweet (but still sweet) cream cheese frosting. It was moist and lemony with a good texture. I enjoyed it very much and was again glad to have a husband who doesn't like sweets, so I never have to share. Good luck to the new owners. I'm sure they'll do well in that attractive and convenient shopping center with five entrances, so you can easily enter and exit on busy winter days, and...
Read moreEvery time I walk into Nothing Bundt Cakes in Fort Lauderdale, Sydney makes it feel like coming home. She treats every customer like family, genuinely excited to see you, warm, welcoming, and always going above and beyond.
Most recently, I was celebrating my mother’s birthday and (unfortunately) picked up an ice cream cake from the Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin-Robbins off Sunrise Blvd. It was a total letdown! Not only was the cake bad, but the staff didn’t seem to care at all about our special occasion or business.
I told Sydney about it the next time I stopped in, and without hesitation, she took it upon herself to decorate one of their Bundt cakes beautifully for my mom. It wasn’t just thoughtful—it was personal. You could tell she truly cares about her customers and their moments.
We stop in almost every week now, and it’s not just for the cake it’s for the experience Sydney creates. If the owner is reading this: she’s a gem, and she absolutely deserves a raise. You don’t find people...
