Came here to try it out on April 21st, 2024 at 3:09pm. Awful customer service. This was my first time here. I wear glasses and I didn't have my glasses on me this time, so I couldn't see very well. I also have a dairy allergy. When I went to pick out my ice cream, I thought I was getting a vegan ice cream. It wasn't vegan. Again, because I couldn't see very well. Honest mistake. Can happen to anyone. My partner then noticed and let me know what I got wasn't vegan so I couldn't eat the ice cream because I am allergic to milk. I did not want an allergic reaction. I explained to the young lady if it could be remade vegan. She said okay, but then wanted to charge me again? I let her know that I already paid the first time so why charge me again? She refused to make the ice cream vegan due to allergy reasons and then dismissed me. I even tipped this girl above 20% and she was giving me a lot of attitude. I wasn't even being rude. I asked politely. I hope this review can help others. It seems this place isn't very kind to customers and as my first time here, the whole experience was awful. I not only walked out with losing my hardworking money, but I also walked out without my vegan ice cream. Very disappointed that this was how I was treated here. I hope Corporate sees this review so they can better train their staff, teach them customer service or just replace the young lady that was very rude to me with someone more suitable for the job and can see an honest mistake is an honest mistake. I didn't ask for this allergy when I was born. So why give me a hard time ? Why not just remake the product ? It seems this place doesn't...

Read moreSometime, under a scorching SOFLO summer evening, after a meal, there is no better way to chill than at CHILL N (2422 N Fed. Hwy., Ft. Laud. (they also have other locations in Coral Springs, Weston, Aventura… and God knows where else).
CHILL N is a fairly recent concept of making nitrogen-infused iced cream right before your eyes (well, behind the icy fog). If you’re a Star Trek Next Generation fan, you’ll understand this and if you are a child you will be wide-eyed and jaw struck. Imagine entering a Borg Cube: nitrogen tubes run down from the ceiling onto some apparatus mixer like food incubator bowls. You choose your liquid flavored cream from a choice regular, yogurt, and even vegan cream, then you select the sweet vittles to be mixed into your composition. Then, you walk down the line where an operator places the liquid specimen and the goodies that you’ve chosen into a stainless-steel bowl. Another operator places the bowl in the infusion cradle, pushes a button, the mixer blade starts rotating, and the nitro is injected into the mixture as it churns. Alien vapor begins to surround the working environment. The operator disappears behind the fog, and the ice cream metamorphosis is in process. Then, the bowl is passed down to another operator who places the silky and creamy blob into a cup, shapes it, and presents it to you. Then, believe me,...
