Shake Shack Ft. Lauderdale — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

My mother and I were in the area and saw that this looked like it was newly opened. She was so looking forward to having a good burger so we decided to try this place despite some negative reviews.

Overall the place, was clean outside and inside. We were greeted by two warm and friendly hostess who were so kind to recommend some items on the menu. We ordered two burgers with cheese and mushrooms, an order of fries and my mother also ordered a milkshake to go with her meal (she really wanted to try it out). We asked for it to be "to go" since we needed to be elsewhere for an appointment.

We were given a pager and then we waited. After a short wait, the pager "buzzed" and we went to get our order. My mother politely asked the lady if she can place condiments and napkins in the bag but all she did was ignore her. My mother again asked her politely and she grunted like a caveman...mind you this was around 1:30pm and it wasn't even rush hour. She then got her milkshake, and we were off.

As far as for the two star rating, it's for the two young ladies at front that were the only thing that earned them those stars.

The food was terrible, everything tasted processed (I couldn't even eat it), the French fries were crinkle fries that tasted gross. The milkshake lacked flavored and it was a huge disappointment. We wouldn't recommend this place to no one except if you speak "caveman" and enjoy horrible food.

You are better off looking elsewhere or go to Publix and make your own burger with fries because this was...

The manager Lolita and staff are great. I was there for the first time getting the Shack burger because they had a Bogo deal for burger of the month. I had no idea how to use the app, but with the help of staff, especially the gentleman upfront with the dreads in his hair and the glasses he was super super nice And so is the girl from yesterday. Yes, I went two days in a row. The food is fresh and it’s like the best burger I’ve had in in a while. They have pickles and tomatoes on it just to meet the size of the burger. The restaurant is clean. The bathroom is clean. The atmosphere is nice and the neighborhood is awesome. I will be back. I also decided to eat the chicken sandwich today. That was really good. It was fresh flaky and it was a lot. I also enjoy the banana pudding milkshake that was good. I prefer without whipped cream yesterday. I had the Oreo cookie milkshake, and it had whipped cream, but it was a little bit too much whipped cream after it melted it but all in all they both tasted good. It was just a nice treat.
