The staff was super friendly, warm, and charming—classic Southern hospitality. I appreciated how helpful and welcoming they were.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the energy. I ordered the grilled chicken hoagie with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The sandwich completely fell apart—a mess to pick up, and I had to ask for utensils just to eat it. The chicken had no grill marks, looked pale and odd, and didn’t even taste like real grilled chicken. It was off-putting enough that I stopped eating.

I grabbed a bag of chips and one of their fresh-baked cookies, which were both fine. The fountain soda was surprisingly great—cold, fizzy, and perfectly mixed. I also tasted the brisket sandwich, and that wasn’t bad—definitely the better of the two.

🙅🏽‍♀️ Will I return? Probably not. While the staff and service were wonderful, the food just wasn’t for me. It lacked flavor, structure, and overall appeal. This spot was friendly, but not my vibe for food.

Went in at about 20 minutes before closing. And you could tell that the staff was upset that I came in at that time. No one greeted me as I came in. You would normally hear "Welcome to Firehouse". Didn't get that. Walked up to the order station(same place you pay!) and was totally ignored. Staff walked passed me multiple times. Now I'm a noticeable person. 6ft tall 300lbs+ black man. I'm imposing! And I was no more noticeable than a chair in the dining area. After 5 minutes of standing there, I walked out. I laughed it off with another patron who was waiting on his sandwich to be made, but it was still disappointing. I understand that it was close to closing time, but your hours don't say "we stop making sandwiches at 830 and close at 9pm." it says you close at 9pm. So even if I walk in there at 855pm, I should expect to have a sandwich made. Your feelings should not be on display like THAT when serving the public. I am a firehouse member. This was not my first time at that location. I frequent that spot alot, as it's near my home. But sadly, it'll be my last...

Low rating because of wait and cleanliness. Waited about 20 minutes for food, not great but not terrible... If we weren't the ONLY people in the store. Two others came in after we ordered so in 30 minutes they managed to get out 4 orders.

The place was FILTHY. Literally not a single surface that was clean. Understandable if they were just recovering from a lunch rush and were focusing on cleaning the back, but we were there at 3:30pm, there was no excuses except for lack of care. I got some pics of the floor but the tables were the same, we had to get napkins and clean off the table ourselves, nobody noticed and offered to come clean. Drink machine was disgusting. Can you imagine what the ice maker looks like?! Ew.

Food was hot, bread was stale.

Firehouse, what is going on?! I'll stick to my local store, no chancing this while...
