DON’T ORDER FROM HERE, unless you want to have to deal with people that care nothing about you, your order, or how they conduct themselves.
I placed an order online through the Pizza Hut app about an hour before the store opened, for delivery when the store opens. About 30 minutes later, I get a notification that my order is on its way and should be here in 20 minutes.
About 20 minutes go by and nothing. About 40 minutes go by and I look at the Lyft tracking link, which now says canceled. I immediately think maybe they ordered the vehicle too soon or something because in the Pizza Hut app, it still says the order is confirmed. I kept track of the order for a short while longer and I see it change to “Preparing” so I figured what I thought was right.
I let some more time pass and see that the status isn’t updating anymore. It isn’t canceled, but isn’t progressing. I decide to call the store and see what’s up.
A woman picks up the phone and in the more exasperated tone tells me “we are closed. We don’t open until 4. I’m sorry I had to cancel your order. My district manager told me to cancel all orders up until 4.” This was surprising to me because the app said they were open at 3, and allowed me to place an order to be delivered at 3. I said “ok, I guess I’ll place the order again.” To which she responds, “At 4?!” I confirm and she says, “just checking”.
I hung up and then took a look at the app again, the order still does not say canceled. I call back to confirm that it is canceled so that I don’t have double charges coming out for the same order. I was pushed through to their call center which routed me back to the store.
The same woman picks up, this time more angry, more exasperated. “I’m sorry we are closed. We don’t open until 4. I’m sorry I had to cancel your order. We don’t open until 4. You can call back at 4 and place your order. We are closed and don’t open until 4.”
I respond calmly and politely, “you don’t need to repeat that you don’t open until 4, I heard you the first time.”
She interrupts me, “if you heard me, you wouldn’t have called back” and hangs up on me.
Now I’m upset. I’m just trying to figure out the status of my order and PLACE ANOTHER ORDER for the right time. Instead of talking to someone who is helpful and just provided me with the information, it seems like I’m talking to a child who is throwing a temper tantrum and will act how ever she wants.
I call back and am forwarded to the call center again. I tell them the situation, that the store will not answer me and ask if I can speak to someone else. I’m told that there is nobody else I can speak to and am forwarded to the store. I sit on hold for 20 minutes and then hang up and call back.
The woman picks up again. I ask for the store manager and she says “I am the store manager”. I ask her for her name. She says “what do you need?” I ask for her name again and she says “we don’t just give those out”. I tell her that’s fine, I will just report your store to corporate, I don’t need your name.
She asks if I need anything else and I tell her the actual reason I’m calling, as this time she will listen to me somewhat. I tell her the order isn’t showing canceled in the app and I just wanted to make sure it was canceled so there’s not a charge hanging out there.
She tells me “I know how to cancel orders. I, myself, canceled your order. I’m looking at my screen which says zero orders. For the money, you’ll get that back in 5-7 business days”. I confirm to her that I will be calling corporate to share my experience.
I escalated this to management as well and will also be following up with an email about the same. If you don’t want to deal with people that want nothing to do with you or the job they’re doing or company they’re working for, don’t place...

They are LIFE my absolute favorite! & when i crave wings they have to be from pizza hut! So for the last few days ive been wanting wings so last night i placed an order online for 2 orders of traditional wings.. BBQ & MILD i also ordered a pasta bowl & cheese sticks! I was sooo excited to get my food and go home! Not have to cook dinner, just eat and chill out… cause i worked 16 hours! NOPE thats not the case! I get to Pizza Hut to pick up my food. The guy at the front was very nice. Super helpful. My family & i try to eat our food i just paid almost 40$ for everything was so over cooked and hard that you could barely eat it !! I promise you could break your tooth on it!
More than half of the wings were un-edible… i think i was able to eat 3 in total out of 12… (and FYI Pizza Hut wings are NOT CHEAP) We got cheese sticks with out pasta bowl so our 2 year old son would have something to eat!! The cheese sticks were hard as a rock! You wanna talk about UPSET, i just worked 16 hours and wasted almost 40$ on Food to still have to COOK DINNER AT HOME ANY WAYS!
I get it I did see that there were only two employees in there. I know that we’re all short staffed, but I don’t mind waiting to have fresh food!!! I don’t like spending almost $40 of my hard earned money on food that I can’t even eat!!! this location has really fell off!! And from what I’m reading in the reviews below man I’m not the only one who is having issues like this!!!

While I was on the phone the delivery driver arrived and my 14 year old answered the door, gave the driver the money, and collected our order. I started to receive calls stating that my food was never paid for and to call them back. I promptly returned the call and when questioned had my daughter explain what had occurred with the delivery driver. Received a 2nd call from the General Manager, who was yelling and extremely disrespectful, was told he was calling the police because I didn't pay. The officers came to my residence and we explained what had occurred. The story had changed from what I was told originally and I was questioned as to whether my daughter would have kept the money for herself and lied about it. I have to defend my daughter on this one because the story they gave was completely out of character and some of the story was completely untrue as I was in the room by that point i.e. driver saying he knocked a second time. Long story short, although they sent police officers (very nice and polite officers btw) to my home. Pizza Hut declined to press charges but if they had I could have been arrested for $41.
