⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely spectacular rooftop experience at Beacon Social Drinkery!
What an incredible evening we had at this stunning 12th-floor rooftop bar! The breathtaking 360-degree views over the Caloosahatchee River and downtown Fort Myers are simply unmatched – especially during sunset when the light dances between the water below and your glass.
The atmosphere is sleek and sophisticated yet comfortable, with the perfect balance of climate-controlled spaces and that wonderful warm Florida air. We loved the vibrant contemporary design and the mix of soft seating and high-top options that make it great for any occasion.
The craft cocktail selection was impressive and expertly crafted – each drink was a work of art. The small plates menu featuring Pan Asian and Latin-inspired specialties was outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the tuna tataki and the spicy chicken empanadas. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented.
The service was exceptional throughout our visit. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and clearly passionate about creating a memorable experience. You can tell they take pride in what they do.
Beacon truly lights up downtown Fort Myers and creates that perfect sophisticated nightspot atmosphere. Whether you're a hotel guest or just visiting for drinks, this rooftop gem offers an unforgettable experience high above the city. The views alone are worth the visit, but combined with excellent drinks, food, and service, it's become our favorite spot for special...
Read moreI will begin by stating that I rarely leave reviews, but what happened today needs to be shared. I reserved and paid to have our company holiday luncheon at the Beacon Social located on the 12th floor or the Luminary Hotel. It was a group of 20. Food was good, service was good, until the bill arrived. We were charged for 12 shots of Don Julio 1942 Tequila @ $40/each, when only regular tequila shots of tequila were ordered, that's $18/each. When we asked to s/w manager we received "did you drink it". Well yes, but we didn't order that specific brand of tequila, just regular tequila. Said manager proceeded to call security to have us escorted out of the restaurant b/c " we refused to pay the bill"... no ma'am. We were inquiring about the bill ... very different. Long story short, after today's sad experience w/ management at the Beacon Social Drinkery many of us will not return. We were treated with disrespect and like we were trying to "skip" on a tab that was well over $3,500. We paid the tab at $40/tequila even though we didn't request nor receive that. But this is beyond cost or money, this is about lack of respect and lack of professionalism. Be very careful what you order and what you're actually...
Read moreJust stayed at the Luminary for three nights. We were on the 12th floor, same as Beacon Social Drinkery. Let's talk the good - was convenient having it on the same floor. Walk "home" was two minutes. The views are amazing, especially at sunset. Service was pretty good both nights we stopped in - Jordan was especially great! Okay, so issues. Sorry, opportunities. Being on the 12th floor on a Saturday night - yay, it was loud, and we were down the hall. We could hear the music. Plus, you may deal with drunk idiots on the elevator. We did a 'to go' order one night of fries and shrimp, and it was all cold. Blah. The walk to our room was two minutes, so no excuses. Told the front desk but not really to complain - more as a comment as part of the scavenger hunt (which, by the way, they are supposed to ring some bell for sunset but did not - just note that if you are trying to score your extra 5000 Bonvoy points). Got a free cocktail in return. So, overall I would say great customer service outside of Beacon. It's got potential which is why I'm giving 4 stars and not 3 - maybe just order drinks and...
