Los Arcos — Restaurant in Fort Payne

We absolutely love Mexican food but we had the WORST experience here tonight! My husband, myself and 5 kids went to eat there tonight and they took our order for drinks (got mine wrong) the ice looked moldy. Then they took our food order even repeated it back to make sure it was correct, brought all food out except one child's food. Tried to locate someone and nobody was to be found, a lady was just coming into work and we got her to check on said child's food (30 minutes at this point) she came back and told us it was forgotten and she was sorry. Everyone finished eating and then they brought out child's food (he ate off of our plates) we told them we no longer needed it seeing as it was coming out after everyone had already eaten and we was leaving. they then proceeded to speak in Spanish then told me the total (which was $2 less than the original total) when I asked how that was possible they told me they had to charge me extra since we got refills on our drinks. This was not my first time eating at Los Arcos and I'm usually a big fan, however, it was the first time at this location. I stopped here for lunch with my daughters. I'm sorry, I don't understand the reviews for this place. The servers pretty much ignored me and my daughters even though there were only 3 other customers seated. We were brought 1 drink for 3 people? And never got a refill!? Anyhow, this place gives Mexican food a bad name. Most things tasted like they were from a can (canned tomatoes in the salsa, the beans, sauce, etc.) The salsa had no flavor-other than a metallic taste, the beans were like soup and super salty. While I agree most Mexican places overdo it on serving sizes, the lunch plates here were so SMALL. My 4 year old ate an adult lunch plate (intended to be split with her sister, but there wasn't enough) and was still hungry. I left hungry as well, but most of my food was still on my plate. This is the worst Mexican place to ever eat !!! They had very poor customer service and all servers were very rude about our orders and called me a name for not understanding what she was talking about . The pizza was disgusting and it was store bought and it wasn’t fully cooked it was mostly white on the bottom !!! Then the bathrooms were okay but it stank real bad that I wanted to throw up 🤮 !!! They were rude about cleaning accidents and they didn’t give an old man a proper chair and they used an office chair even though it wasn’t that full !
