So very sad that people choose to make money wrongfully, off the death of others family members. My sisters and I Went to the UPS store in Fort Payne to have some obituary cards printed of our deceased parents, the lady at the counter only let me print one copy and then made copies of that making all but the original very poor quality. On one family members cards the owner mistakenly forgot to turn the paper and double printed over the first copy making it completely impossible to read, but laminated over it anyway and charged me for the unreadable copy. Even worse blamed me for the error even though she was the only one with access to the printer which was behind the counter. Great way to run a business, blaming the customer for your error and even worse selling a product that was meant to be a gift that can’t even be read. When my sister took the cards back to the store the owner refused to try to make it up or even give a refund while screaming and insulting my sister. A very expensive lesson since we were over charged to begin with and still are without the obituary cards. This is a very dishonest way of doing business, not worthy of anyone’s business. We will never do business with that...
Read moreMy grandmother passed away a little over a month ago. My aunt and mother went to print obituary cards for her. When they got home and opened the package, there were cards that were supposedly printed on card stock that you could see right through. The cards were double printed, and you could barely read them. When my mother took them back to be refunded, the owner blamed my aunt for telling her how to do it the wrong way. She yelled and insulted my mother, calling her uneducated. Imagine owning a UPS store and having to ask a customer to explain to go through the process. You, ma’am, should educate yourself on how to do the services that your own store offers. My family will NEVER do business with this store again. It is a shame that you would treat anyone this way for YOUR mistake, especially while those people are dealing with the death of a dear family member. I’d give this store no stars if that were an option. Don’t go to this store. They’re...
Read moreI recently had a very disappointing experience with this UPS Store. I went in with all the necessary details for my package, including the exact size, dimensions, weight, and destination zip code. Despite giving them everything upfront, they quoted me a price only to almost double it once the package was weighed—claiming it was 6 pounds heavier.
This seemed very suspicious since the package's weight hadn't changed from when I originally shared it with them. When I asked for an explanation, the staff couldn't give me a clear answer about where the discrepancy came from, nor could they justify the sudden increase. It felt like they were either making up these extra charges or didn't care enough to help me understand why the cost doubled.
I'm extremely disappointed by this lack of transparency and the seemingly deceptive practices. I'll be looking for other options for my shipping needs...
