I am from out of state and was visiting my aunts and my cousins before leaving back home we all needed breakfast there was three different families a total of 12 of us from the time that we walked into the restaurant there was an attitude that there were so many people together one gentleman asked if we wanted to be seated somewhere when he was cut off and told no instantly later to find out that person that said no is the manager the waitress that was there started off stomping talking under her breath with the attitude that there was so many people that came in at one time waited a little bit longer and then we ended up going into the banquet room which is not generally open we sat back there we were instructed that we had to separate our bills so that it was easier to read blah blah blah no big deal we are three different families. We could have even sat at three different tables close together we sat in the back with the kids for over an hour and a half before inquiring where our food was in the meantime the people that walked in and behind us have already been served their food and almost done eating mind you that out of the 12 of us nine of them are children all under the age of 10. The attitude from the waitress is unnecessary and uncalled for so much that the nice lady that was busting the tables even notice and apologize for this lady's attitude I don't care where you're from treat others how you want to be treated. Separate us services three individual families we all eat separately anyway the manager is going to apologize and then explain what the large group blah blah blah nope prior to that day we had been for an entire week with a group of at least 17 to 23 people and it was not that big of a deal waitress Samantha was very pleasant the busser was very pleasant I did not catch the bus lady's name but she was very nice to us and I appreciate that on another note the service was good so maybe one day I will try a different huddle House my family that lives there will never probably stop foot in that place again and I most definitely won't. The food was very tasty thank you for...
Read moreI haven't been to the huddle house In a little over a year. I work for Plasman so when I come I come with a large crowd. The last time I was there we were disrespected by some staff members who are no longer there so I figured let's give it another shot. Today me and some friends from plasman and the gas house visited after working third shift only to be degraded by the cook. There were two an older tall white guy and a older tall African man. When Carla our waitress gave our to go order to them that we placed after eating breakfast it was 2 Mega bacon cheeseburgers and fries. We ask that one burger have garden with no fries and the other burger to have no garden with extra fries. The African cook repeats the order and says well imagine that the cheese burger with no garden gets double fries and they both begin to laugh. So I ask the cook if he felt comfortable fat shaming his customers and I told him that we and the rest of the customers heard his jokes and he replied with I can say what I want I said it to the waitress not you! Sorry coach last time for me and my friends. However Carla was amazing and she deserves better. The first thing she said was I haven't seen you in a while but none of your crew comes in here anymore, well this is why. The level of disrespect. And when I said i was calling coach so maybe he would take care of it the cook looked at me and said he want take care of me he needs me! If you need ppl Like that no matter how bad our work force and economy are maybe a restaurant isn't the right...
Read moreMy family and I just left this establishment. First let me say, Amber, our waitress, was EXCELLENT! Fast service. Very attentive. The cook, I did not catch his name, but he prepared a wonderful, hot and fresh meal. Now, Cynthia, posing as the assistant manager needs A LOT of education on the food industry and the what nots to do. While waiting for our meal, my family and myself observed the following from her: vaping, eating, drinking, licking food from a fork, coughing without covering her mouth over food, she took biscuits out of the microwave without gloves on and placed them on a plate. She was wiping sweat off of her head and running her fingers through her hair. Never, not once did she was her hands. We spoke to our waitress and told her what we observed and she mentioned to her about the gloves. She then put some on again, without even washing her hands. As we were paying our bill, yes we ate our food, she did not prepare our food, I watched, I asked to speak with her. I told her what I observed and she stated “ I know the rules” she also stated “I’ve been here for a long time”. She completely disregarded what we had observed and I made my point very clear that I, nor my family would not be back in to eat if she was working. Do better Cynthia. The great people working their tails off to provide good service take a punch in the gut for people like you. You don’t care about the rules. You made that clear tonight. Store manager, Steve Sparks, I hope that you address this accordingly before you loose...
