This was our first visit to this place. I can't say with complete certainty we'd be back but it might be likely if in the area and wanting deli type sandwiches. My biggest hangup would be the price for what you get. They have 3 size options for sandwiches but it is based on the bun size. When I asked what the difference was in ounces of meat, she responded "I don't know".... sigh 😔... No attempt to find out for me. I asked if I could get the jalapeno cheese bun on whatever sandwich I ordered and was told yes, but apparently, that was wrong and the computer wouldn't let her do it...could have maybe called an audible to the kitchen?!?! Nope. Anyway, when they brought the sandwiches out I was taken aback. We ordered a few of the biggest size and they were big, for sure. But, the meat was all in the center and didn't go to the edge of the bun. Like a half inch of just bread all the way around. The sandwiches tasted outstanding! Just not sure they were worth the price. The sourdough bun is very good and is perfect for soaking up au jus if you happen to get the French Dip. Great sandwiches, need more meat, Edit: thanks for explaining the bun thing, that...
Read moreI frequently visit here as I love the smoke brisketeer however that is when they can actually get it correct. 1 out of 3 times will they make it correctly. However I don't think I will be eating here any longer due to the cleanliness of the staff. No hair nets- no gloves on when prepping food, they eat using their hands with hand to lip contact & made food for another customer without washing their hands. They handed over my food without saying anything back when I said "thanks". This isn't the first time on manners either. Perhaps this company should adopt just half of the manners of chick fila as it would be a dramatic change for the ft smith location. I had to return my food- AGAIN- tonight. This place has no consistency, no manners, & is filthy. I am extremely upset as I have gaven this place multiple attempts & even put up with long waits for it to never get better but what seems...
Read moreI am unhappy to share my recent experience here, as I have been a lifelong, pleased customer of Schlotzky’s. This being said, my most recent visit was unacceptable. My first issue was when I went to pay for my food. Instead of taking my card to pay, the employee reached out with a card reader for me to pay on. Once I stuck the card in, he informed me that it would ask for a tip. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable because it was very obvious to the worker if you chose the button to not tip. Because I was in the drive through, and it was already an expensive sandwich, I chose not to tip. The employee was then obviously annoyed with my choice not to tip. When I returned home to eat, I opened the sandwich, and was greeted by an extremely thick (pube-like), 6 inch hair. Whether these two events are correlated or not, I don’t know. Nevertheless, I would not recommend...
