I love the Jamaican feel you get as soon as you arrive. They have music on speakers outside and inside so you feel as though you just arrived at the island. I was immediately greeted by Tony behind the bar. Tony was of great help, very knowledgeable on the menu and all the dishes and it's prices. I ordered the jerk wings and a side of white rice. The jerk seasoning in my opinion being from the islands was not very traditional at all! It was very Americanized and tasted like A1 sauce sadly but still it was some what flavorful to some extent. The oxtail is serves with beans and rice, sides: cabbage and fried sweet plantains. I also got a side of rotti. This dish was mines and I truly enjoyed it even though it was also not very authentic in flavors. The oxtail was falling of the bone soft, yummy. Flavor was very fragrant and savory I enjoyed it. The sides: They give you a little bit of stir fried cabbage which was ok. The fried plantains bring the dish together. They forgot to pack my roti on that day :-( and by the time I realized it i was miles and miles away. I was so disapointed. However, when I called TONY he was fantastic and offered to have it ready in my drive back a couple of days later and even packed me a little bit of chicken curry for me to a company the roti with. The roti was pretty good heavy and as traditional as it can get in that area... The curry ckn was ok but not the best. So all in all for the service given i give it a 4 even though I think food taste only gets a 2 or a 3 in authenticity and paid about 27$ for one dish and an appetizer...

I decided to grab a late afternoon lunch here this past Saturday while visiting the local area and beaches. I first noticed it while traveling eastbound on HWY 98 and noticed that they had a private parking lot. If you're interested and looking for this restaurant, it's easy to navigate to with the use of a GPS device or Google maps. Upon entering I was greeted by a friendly and courteous staff, and I noticed that they had face masks and gloves on. I decided to order a to go plate just as a precaution against the COVID-19 pandemic, even though it appeared that they was limiting customer capacity. The sun was nice and bright outside, so I just ate my food in my car. The jerk chicken was excellent and well seasoned. My two sides was cabbage and rice...which they too was very delicious. I bookmarked this restaurant in YELP, because I'm positive that i will be back in near future when I'm visit this area again.
This is definitely well worth another visit and a 5 star rating. I would highly recommend it to friends and family members who want a great lunch or dinner choice, because their portions are plentiful and...

I always read the reviews even if I am a regular patron, just to see how the business is doing. I was shocked that a lot of people complained about the price for what you get and we have never had a problem like that. We support our local business and understand pricing. Well today was disappointing because we ordered the Ox and even requested extra stated we would pay and requested extra gravey. I got 4 bones of ox my husband got 5 and enough extra gravey for one of us. We also paid for rum cake that we did not get. (Not completely they fault because I didn't check but again...I was confident that my order was complete once I handed over payment.) This review is for the owners to know that we are here to support your business but if you see these and ignore them how do you expect the same support to continue. I'm not looking for anything other than your best. I want to brag about your business without someone saying "Hell no they charge so much for nothing" Food taste great as...
