First of all first of all I had not eaten at Five Guys since they opened several years ago here in Fort Walton Beach. When I approached the cashier I had stated the fact that I had not been here in a long time he explain the menu and I went ahead and place my order. To my shock was the cost of this lunch... I received a burger small fry and a drink for the cost of over $15. I proceeded to the table to get my napkins and get things set up there were two other customers in the restaurant and every one of the tables were dirty so I had to clean the table to make room for myself the ketchup's were covered with leaking ketchup packages and I approached the staff to get clean ones and we were told that's all they had and that they were out of clear plastic cups so the pump ketchup was not out there as well. When the food came the burger did taste very good, however the fries were cold and a line started to form at the register so I just cut my losses and took my food to go as the staff was cutting up amongst each other and really wasn't concentrating on work. The manager was very professional and empathetic in her response to us. With that, they have earned us as customers again. They provide great food and service so I hope they can continue to compliment that with their staff. Thank you.
Made an online order to pickup at 5:45. Arrived at the store right on the dot and was told to wait. No problem, completely understandable. However, nobody cared to look that the bag was sitting there all the time. At 6:08, one of the staff members decided to look into the bag and call out my name. I proceeded to ask if that bag had been sitting there all the time to which he responded "sorry ma'am, no one told me". No additional compensation, empathy presented. Working at hotels and having to deal with this all the time, it is meaningful and hopeful to receive a little bit of good service when you are tired and just want to grab a bite. Read moreI've just had my only bad experience with this establishment. This was all about poor management. I was disrespected on several levels. First as I requested a refund for the $2.89 water cup, the manager on duty 8/7/24, Shawn( not certain of spelling), asked me if I paid cash and I answered yes. Immediately after my response, he asked the young man who took my order " did he pay cash ? " This went downhill from there as I pointed out that it appeared my answer was questionable and he continued to act in a condescending manner.
