While the food is usually very good and plentiful, this Panda Express location is not great. I used to dine at this specific restaurant more frequently but it’s becoming less and less. It’s usually always a long wait and they somehow always manage to mess one thing up with your order.
I decided to write a review based on my experience tonight. I arrived right at 5:00 pm and was told it was going to be a 15-minute wait for the teriyaki chicken, which I was okay with; they were really busy and I wasn’t in that much of a hurry. They asked me to pull forward and I ended up waiting 25 minutes. There was no teriyaki sauce - thankfully, the worker was still by my window as there were 3 cars behind me waiting for their food also. I asked for the sauce - you know that look and sigh people give when you’re “inconveniencing them”, yeah I received that. She asked me to pull up and wait while she goes to get it. I say “No, I’m going to stay right here. I’ve already had to pull up and wait an extra 10 minutes from what I was told.” She replied, “Well, you ordered the teriyaki chicken and it takes a long time.” She, then, walked away and I wait a little over 5 minutes and she never comes back.
So, I back up back to the drive thru window and ask for my sauce with a different girl. I tell the worker that I need three because I’ve got three orders of teriyaki chicken - she walked away mid-sentence and returned with only one. I explain it to her again and she finally returns with all of my sauce. By the way, I saw the original girl who went back inside to get my teriyaki sauce helping another customer, so she obviously chose to disregard my rightful request.
The fact that I was basically “blamed” for ordering an item that takes a long time nor was even offered an apology for THEM forgetting to include the teriyaki sauce and acting as though it was a chore for them to get it is ridiculous. With the exception of the lady who initially took my order and my money at the window, they were all very rude. Word to the wise, a simple and sincere apology can go a long way and make all the difference sometimes.
This location, in terms of service, is severely lacking. At least their food is usually good - that’s why it received two...
Read moreWent thru drive-thru about 9:15 at night and was told they are out of certain foods. Asked what was available and I ordered 2 meals she said was available. She then yelled at me right after I ordered it, saying that meal wasn't available! (After she had JUST said it was!) I told her to "stop yelling at me" and that "she had JUST said it was available". (I never yelled back). She then corrected herself and said it was available. (Her name is "Jenny".)
I also asked to have our rice from both orders combined into one container together-- separate from our main choices. We planned on giving the rice to someone else. So we didn't want it in our food we would be eating from. She wouldn't do that. What if, the person taking it doesn't want our germs--- from eating out of the same container?
So management: TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES ON MANNERS. They need to NEVER yell at customers for THEIR own mistake. She was clearly mistaken and an apology should have been issued to me for yelling at me. I did not do anything that warrented being yelled at. Thus the low score on stars. Also, realize if a customer asks for the rice to be placed in a separate container from other dishes, there may be a...
