The three workers that were in this store should be fired. Just no... Find someplace else. Hubby and I just left that place. Went to the drive through and asked for two butter pecan, one scoop cones. Response: Oh, we are out of Butter Pecan. So we asked what flavors do you have that has cherries? Response: We don't have anything with cherries. So then we asked for a cone with chocolate ice cream. Response: We just ran out of chocolate (immediate snickering and laughing in the background) So we said never mind and drove around to the front and my husband went in. Three employees laughing and snickering. He walked up to the ice cream area. One display counter was completely covered so he looked into the other one and noted one container that had chocolate in it, but it looked like it had not been scraped for 6 months. He asked isn't that a chocolate? Response: Well, it's not just chocolate it has other things in it. Do you want to try it? He said no, and then noticed the person leaning over and then looking at her friends snickering and laughing. He the said Oh, you think that is funny and that he found it strange that everything we asked for they were out of, like butter pecan and then all of a sudden out of chocolate. Then they said something about not having to carry Butter Pecan. He related they had it listed as the three recommended flavors. One of the workers then stated they did have butter pecan and mumbled something else that was inaudible. He then just turned shaking his head and left. This can't be a place that makes any money with workers who carry on like that. Doesn't seem like they care to sell anything. Doesn't have a clean feel to it at all. Read moreDisappointing Experience and Unacceptable Service My recent visit to this Baskin-Robbins was incredibly frustrating and left a lot to be desired. We were excited by the wide array of flavors advertised on the menu, but that excitement quickly turned to annoyance.
We tried to order a Banana Royale, which online clearly states it comes with two scoops of ice cream. When we attempted to customize our scoops with matcha and vanilla, a rude woman repeatedly cut off the gentleman taking our order, emphatically stating, "We don't got that. We don't do that." It was incredibly unclear what she was referring to, and I had to explain that the online menu showed these options and the Banana Royale included two customizable scoops. She made it seem like customization wasn't even an option. Rather than argue further, we reluctantly agreed to just get the standard Banana Royale with whatever flavors it came with.
To our absolute shock, when we got to the pick-up window, they had the audacity to ask what flavors we wanted for the ice cream scoops! We were appalled, having just gone through such a hassle. We simply asked for chocolate and vanilla, only to be told they didn't have any because they were "frozen." Seriously, how do you not have basic flavors like chocolate and vanilla available in the middle of summer? It gave off major "ice cream machine broke" vibes, which is baffling for a place that primarily sells ice cream.
When we asked what flavors were available, the staff was completely unhelpful and rude, offering no apology for the numerous unavailable options. To top it off, they also didn't have the dairy-free Oreo scoop we asked for. The lack of basic flavors, the miscommunication between staff, and the incredibly poor customer service made this a truly terrible experience. Read moreWe weren't impressed either. We arrived after a plumbing leak of some kind and were asked to wait a few minutes before coming in as they were cleaning up. That's understandable. When we got in the store, however, it did feel "dirty". I checked the prepacked ice creams for the flavor I wanted (chocolate with peanut butter) and they didn't have any. I asked if I what is on display is all they have in stock since the chocolate peanut butter was really low and then I wanted to know if that was enough to make a packed pint. They insisted on checking the prepacked freezer themselves then went to the back to check there as well but it turned out that "what you see is what you get". So, not enough to pack, I guess. So I ordered a Reese's Peanut Butter Sundae although I asked it be made with the chocolate peanut butter ice cream instead. That didn't happen. As I looked into the ice creams, you could see the freezers badly needed defrosting and many of the ice cream flavors looked freezer burnt or had ice that was built up inside of the freezer on top of them.
We also observed an employee's spouse (?) and young (minor) child enter the employee area behind the counters. (No OSHA violation there!)
This store's floors have always felt permanently sticky in previous visits. And I can relate to the other reviewer about the store being out of inventory. Past visits I have asked for whatever specialty bacon sandwich was going on at that time only to be told they were out of that specialty bacon. So I ordered another plain bacon product and was told they were out of plain bacon too. Are you telling me the company doesn't utilize an inventory/purchasing system that can analyze and predict the inventory needs of the store? It's 2019...the technology is there. Please utilize it.
