Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Fort Worth

As always, Sonic delivered excellent service, friendly staff and carhops, and fantastic food, especially considering it's a fast food place. I ordered a combo Sonic cheeseburger with bacon added, which comes with an order of fries or tater tots, and a medium drink. What's great is that if you don't feel like having soda, you can order any flavor of limeade, any flavor of slush, any flavor of any drink, including milkshakes! This location was well- landscaped, very clean, and in a excellent location right off of I-20 in Willow Park just before you get to Weatherford off of exit 418. It's a great place to stop when you're traveling to or from Dallas from Abilene or any town in between. I will definitely return to this Sonic in the future on my trips to the Metroplex. I definitely recommend visiting this Sonic drive-thru when you're in the area and need a snack or a meal or just a nice cold drink. One other excellent thing about Sonic ... any location... Is that if you like the ice that they use in their drinks, which are little teeny tiny balls of ice, you can order a large bag of it to take home for only $2 or so. They've got the greatest ice! They also have the number one best hamburgers out of all name brand popular fast food...

I'm not sure why I keep punishing myself thinking this place will ever get its act together. They either miss items, don't make as ordered, or "forget" to put in your order and you wait 30 mins for a small popcorn chicken.

Today sealed the deal and I will never give them my money again. Ordered via DoorDash as I am unable to leave my home at the moment. Cheeseburger combo meal with tots, a small cheddar pepper w/2 ranch, and strawberry slush. I knew immediately when I received my bag that something was missing. Yup, missing my tots and 1 of the ranch packets. Call and asked for the manager - I'm assuming the manager answered the phone because she didn't pass it off but also didn't provide her name. Told her what happened. She told me to request a refund from DoorDash. Wait. Why is DoorDash refunding me for something I paid Sonic for but didn't receive due to their incompetency? He response, they don't deal with money. Excuse me maam? No offer to make it right with them actually providing me with what I paid for just a saying that she would talk to the bag packers. Yes, DoorDash did refund me, but it's the principal of the matter. Makes me curious how much money they have pocketed by conducting...

Unfortunately, I've been to this sonic only a handful of times and had the same level experience each time. Almost every time I make an order, the order is incorrect. I've used the app to order, I would sit in the car for 20 minutes or so while they said they were preparing the order. I went today and hopes that my experience would be different. I ordered a head as you get half price off drinks anytime when you order through the app. I did that. I went to the Sonic at the time. They said it would be ready and checked in via the app as requested. I sat for about 15 minutes while they said they were gathering our order. At that time. I called through the intercom that our order had not been brought to us and they said it would be out shortly. Unfortunately the drinks which were ice cream based, had been sitting on the countertop. Apparently for that 20 minutes and ice cream was now melted and gross. When I thought our problems were over, come to find out they shorted us a drink as well. So even after all that time our order wasn't even fully fulfilled. Anyway. I definitely won't be coming back here. I feel like I've given it enough opportunities to make...
