This hotel is located in front of a freeway with nothing around it except Chick-fil-A and Panda Restaurant the name of the hotel Candlewood Suites, you would expect the units are suites but surprise!!!! does not have any suites at all. They call the bedrooms... suites with two queen beds 1 bathroom two burner electric stove two plates two bowls two Forks to butter knife cutting board and one knife dish soap dishwasher paper towel measuring cup coffee maker one pot holder and one dish towel. A full size refrigerator a recliner table to work on TV dresser one side table in the middle of two queen beds with a landline that doesn't work. In our unit anyway. The water in the shower is like a drip system so you cannot shower fast because the water is slow. The hotel does not have in house housekeeping. It was a shocking Discovery when we were told in the front desk that we have to stay at least 8 days before we can get housekeeping to clean our room. They only clean rooms once a week!!!!!OMG!!!!!! For real????How unsanitary!!! So does it mean when the person book only two nights or overnight stay it will not be cleaned leanings will not be changed toilet will not be cleaned towels will not be replaced? Just thinking about it makes me imagine horrible things!! When you want your towels replaced you have to bring them in the front desk and they will replace them. If you put your dirty towels in front of your room you will get fined for $25 as well as when you put your garbage bag in the front of your unit, a fine will be added to your bill. Today the lady in the front desk woke up on the wrong side of the bed. She is not happy to help. And all these penalties were not explained during booking process and check- in. To summarize it all if you're not staying more than a week clean your own room bring your dirty towels to the front for a placement throw away your garbage and the garbage can by the stairs or not coming to this hotel at all. If you do ask all the questions before you book your rooms. And make sure you keep busy away from this hotel because it's mainly just for sleeping in and out all day. It's not a place to relax and enjoy your stay, unless these issues does not matter to you. .

Read others' reviews below and pay attention. BED BUGS I stayed here one weekend for my AF Reserve duty. I did not personally choose this hotel. First: Bed bug infestation in Rm 221 (see photos). I could not sleep all night with the itch. Noticed two bites when I woke up on Saturday morning, but I didn't make anything of it. Saturday night, though. Horrible. When I went to talk to the lady at the front desk, as soon as I mentioned bed bugs she stopped me with "We do not." I said what? She repeated "we do not have bed bugs." Wouldn't even listen. I walked away. It seems like they have heard this before. I will be reporting this to Public Health authorities. Second: I set the AC to 60, the lowest it would go. I sweated all night both nights. The AC turns on for about a minute then turns off for another 10 or so. Third: Either an elephant stayed in the room above mine or the floors are made of cardboard. But it was LOUD, all night, both nights. Fourth: no complimentary breakfast, only machine coffee. Do not stay here. It is not worth your money nor the aftermath. And thank you, rude old lady at the front desk, for shutting me down before I even finished my sentence, and for getting defensive for no reason. I would send you back to customer service training if any at all was ever given to you.

Great area to be in and the rooms are nice and spacious. Free parking. No breakfast but they do have a snack room where you may purchase essentials and snacks. Coffee is free. They have Dove shampoo, conditioner, and hand wash in the bathroom which was nice. Great stay if you aren’t looking to ask for a late checkout. Checkout time is at 11 AM and I have stayed at several hotels before where they have no issues extending checkout to 12 PM. However, as an IHG member, I tried checking out at 12 instead of 11 and I called to ask whether they could extend it and REFUSED TO ANSWER MY CALL FROM MY ROOM. But when I called from my personal cell phone number, some old lady who claims her name is Jenna answered right away. When I asked if I could do a late check out, she responded so rudely saying, “No ma’am absolutely not! I need everyone to be checked out of their rooms on time! I have a lot of reservations coming in tonight.” NOTE: that this took place on a SUNDAY MORNING and no one has a lot of reservations coming in on a Sunday because everyone goes back to work on Monday so she’s a liar. Again, I am an IHG rewards member and this is the worst that I’ve ever been treated by any staff at any IHG

HORRIBLE MANAGER/ SERVICE!!!!!! I used my family discount because she works for the hotel (different location). The reason why is because my husband is in the military and was down for monthly drills. We were only staying 2 days so I didn’t want to get a far hotel from him (booked in a different hotel for army). When I arrive to the hotel it was 12pm. I asked for an early check-in there were none at the time so I waited in the lobby with my baby. Around 130 the elderly white lady was going to check in, but my family member had to be there because it was her discount. I had to wait on her because she was in the process of waiting. The manager was being so rude the Indian girl. Waiting for an early check-in, she was talking loud about all the staff members that worked there. And then I’m waiting for my family to come because she work 45 minutes from the hotel. The Indian looking lady was trying to give my room away after my family had explained she’s coming from work (Which is another Candlewood suites Hotel). Keep a reminder this is all before 3 o’clock check in !!!! after 3 o’clock she was threatening me and being rude talking about me to the other staff (the white lady. The lady was cordial being professional, but the Indian lady she was so rude. I was sitting in the lobby being patient waiting and she was yelling “ did you guys figure it out yet?” And I had told her ma’am we are waiting for the lady to come, do you know that my family member even told her on the phone and she agreed and she continuously picking at us. She was embarrassing me as if I couldn’t pay for the room That was The only hotel. I was there for my husband military so I wasn’t staying long…. Didn’t want to be in that location but because my husband was in that location. THE INDIAN LADY WAS RUDE! Unprofessional, and you can tell that she was talking about me and my family to the staff because when we walked down, they were just staring at us. I have Pictures and video recording of how she was talking to me. I had my baby with me. He was tired. We were all tired because of traveling 5 hours. Never staying at this hotel again only because of that lady she was trying to give my room up and check is after three. My family arrived there at 4 o’clock 430. I was only being nice because my family worked for the candlewood suite hotel at a different location and she loves her job. However, this lady was making it so difficult...

My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel last month, and unfortunately, It was a very disappointing experience from the moment we checked in. We were given a room that had a very disgusting smell and odor!! There was no way we were going to stay in that room. It is beyond me why they would put any guest in such a room that had such a disgusting smell!! When we complained, they came up to spray the room, as if that would make any difference! They then told us that they didn’t have a similar room available and wouldn't have one available until tomorrow, so we had to spend our first night in a much smaller room. It was such an inconvenience for us, as we were already exhausted from a long trip and wanted to rest. We asked about getting compensation for all the inconveniences, but the hotel staff that checked us in and the hotel manager claimed that they couldn’t do anything on their end because we had booked through a third party agency. Which makes no sense! If you all had given us a decent room that didn't have a disgusting smell in the first place, we wouldn't have to go through any of what we went through. Our attempts to resolve the issue with the third party agency were equally frustrating! They couldn’t get in touch with the hotel manager, leading to a lot of back-and-forth with no resolution for a while. It took almost 2 weeks of persistent efforts before we finally received any form of compensation. The compensation received was disappointing to say the least!! The whole process was incredibly frustrating and poorly handled! We do not recommend this hotel to anyone based on our experiences. Please look elsewhere if you want to enjoy...
