8-8-12 went inside to eat ordered my food received gravy that look absolutely nasty and a soggy biscuit it took longer than most chicken express is to receive my order yet again plus this tall blonde girl that was taking drivethrough orders continuously complained about customers (Loudly) the entire time to some guy who I assumed was the manager when I finally got my order the same blonde girl drop my food on the table and started walking away I asked her if I could have some ketchup while still walking away with attitude she says its over there by the door (really) I finish my food and when i leave I stand at the register for a few minutes with 3 other clients until the employees stop playing around long enough to ask is what we need so that I could get a refill on my sweet tea and furthermore the entire time we where here there was 4 to 5 employees sitting down in the lobby eating being loud cutting up and playing around did not make for a very good experience the older gentleman with spikey hair was nice but management needs to re evaluate the employees they hire to serve the customer and train there rude employees or even better dine in at some other chicken x press in the metroplex 2 good examples would be the 1 off of collins and 20 or my favorite in grapevine off of northwest highway. ........ Read more7/8/2016 This will literally be my first bad food service review because the service was the worst i've ever experienced. I wanted some chicken late, luckily this location is open til 11. My first mistake I suppose. I pull up to the drive-thru intercom and see atleast 4-5 cars in line before me, so I didn't feel bad about getting there at 10:20. Half way through my order the intercom just starts clicking and no one trys to help me or re-do my order. I finally get up to the window and the drive-thru attendant is talking to a friend (not a customer) and is hugging them while I wait for her to return to her station so I can repeat my unfinished order. When she finally gets to me she asks what I ordered. I give a very simple order of a #2 with 2 sides. When I get it, I see I didnt get my corn nuggets, she leaves, I then realize that what she handed me wasn't tenders but gizzards or something. So I tell her this isnt what I ordered. Attitude. Finally get my nuggets. She snags my box back and returns with my tenders. At this point I'm pretty fed up and just leave without re-re looking into my box. When I do open my box 2 min later the tenders are luke warm and they forgot my buscuit... Seriously? This place is trash. A simple order messed up 3-4 times? I wish I could give...
Read moreWhen it comes to fast food, you'll experience a wide variety of quality, service and atmosphere. So when I review those, a 4 star at a fast food joint isn't the same as a 4 star at a sit down white table cloth place. The standards are higher in sit down places so a 4 will always be higher than a 4 in fastfood/ drive thru.
Now with that being said, this location has never failed in consistency the 5 years I've driven through. The chicken has never been dry, the oil never old, the sides are always In stock and the tea isn't stale. It's not grandma's chicken but it's good, consistent and dependable. Who could ask for more than they expect from a chain fast food joint?
Now that being said, for what they are paid, they aren't going to be the friendliest or create the atmosphere that of a place with live music but they weren't rude and didn't cause discomfort. I think another chicken chain has the corner on manners but because it's forced its hard to tell if it's genuine. So all in all, I'm not real sure you'll have a fast food place that can score perfectly in those areas. Which is why overall they get a 5 but Itemized, it's there as a four.
Good people. Good food. Good representation of the chain. Drive by and you'll get exactly what you'd hope in a...
