I wanted to take my parents out for the morning and they wanted breakfast. I have been seeing this Dennys off of I30. They were so excited to go since I have shown them what Dennys serves there. They have never been so I wanted to treat them to a nice place. Boy was I wrong. They minute we walked in there there was no one at the host stand. Which I think they don't have a host but I would see the wait staff look toward us and then keep walking. One wait staff walked over toward the entrance of the kitchen and started to play with I believe was one of the kitchen staff little child. I don't know why the child was there. Then I saw another wait staff just walkk past us 3 times and another walked up to the register and paid no attention to me and just just started to ring up someone's order and I had to step over and ask nicely if we needed to seat ourselves or to be seated due to every wait staff ignoring us the that have been waiting for near ten minutes to be seated. She looked up and rudely said ( you have to wait to be seated) during that time one of the waits that has seen us waiting for 10 minutes goes up to another couple that just walked in amd told them to follow her to a table. That was just rude. Like I said we asked nicely smile on my face was never rude at all. There was no organization. The waits even looked like they were inconvenienced by the customer. I took my parents to the Dennys on Hulen St. The management was already at the stand and seated up kindly and after we ordered the our food was out in less than 10 minutes and fresh and hot. Amazing. So go to Hulen Street Dennys for the best...

While I insisted my food was more than satisfactory to me, the manger insisted otherwise. She would not take no for an answer and replaced my food item. The quality of food in her store was extremely important to her obviously. I do not desire to give anymore details as the incident was very and extremely rare for my experience at this store. What is consistent at this store is the service, quality of staff and high quality and extremely delicious food. This place is clean, courteous and consistently busy. The locals are very fortunate to have a Denny's like this near them. I've been in plenty of breakfast (and more) places across the country (as I travel for work) and this is as good or better than any I've been in! I can't say enough.
This Denny's had definitely been remolded. Behind the counter it is clean. The staff is polite. The food was fast! I was there less than five minutes and I had food. And dad gum, it was the best breakfast I have had in awhile! Somebody else said in a review that Denny's buttermilk pancakes are better than IHOP's. Spot on! Those were very good buttermilk pancakes! You could taste the buttermilk! The bacon was good.Tthe sausage links we're good. The eggs cooked medium we're just right. The orange juice was good. The sausage nor bacon was very greasy. But the buttermilk pancakes were definitely the best! They were extremely good. This place is busy too and the three waitresses kept up very well. This is a great place...
Read moreHow is it that an 80 yr old lady, my mother-in-law, who came in by herself to have her birthday breakfast was charged for her food because she did not have an app? She.is.80.years.old. She does not know how to use an app. She can barely use her new cell phone. Someone in management could have helped her out. Why can't corporations understand that people of certain age cannot use apps or understand new technology. I will consider that not all elders will have this issue, but there are a lot that do. It's not the fact that she can't pay for her breakfast, it's the fact that she chose to come to your establishment out of all the others to eat for HER 80th birthday and was denied her "free" birthday breakfast because she couldn't use an app. We definitely need to find a way to help our elders enjoy and be a part of our communities, instead of pushing them to the side because they don't understand. To make it to the golden age is a feat in itself with the way this world is. Our elders deserve better than we give them. I know this will not matter, but I think all corporations should take notice. You will hopefully live to a ripe old age. If so, I hope society is kind to you and you do not have to be discriminated against. *And just in case you are wondering, we are coming up to take her out for the day and celebrate her birthday. She just decided to partake of...
