Eggtastic is quite an overstatement, at the time of this review, this place has a 4.7 star rating. This rating is drastically inflated, as both the food and service were extremely underwhelming. Starting from the beginning, when entering the establishment, I was excited, expecting delicious food and service as the place was packed. However, to me and my mother’s dismay it took almost 10 minutes for a waitress to get our order, and another 30 to receive our food. Normally, this wait time would be somewhat acceptable as long as the food is worth the wait, unfortunately it wasn’t. I ordered the “Eggtastic’s Coffeecakes” and my mom ordered an omelette, I expected greatness as the coffee cakes were at the top of the favorites section but i received what tasted like reheated, dry pancakes with little to no coffee flavor. The pancakes were overly thick and chewy and not just the coffee ones as when I tried the mini pancakes (one of two sides from the omelette) they consistently dry and chewy. Disappointed with how my food tasted my mom offered me some of her omelette, a regrettable decision I made was accepting it as it was near flavorless and cold. My next issue was the service, as we were unfortunate enough to placed in the only table without condiments (which were required for any flavor) we had to ask for some, but that was okay because the waitress came back quickly but there was no salt, so the hash browns (the second side from the omelette) remained to be flavorless. The wait time and lack of condiments was not the only issue I had with the service, there was also difficulties in something as simple as refilling a drink, which was necessary because of the dry pancakes. In conclusion, our experience was terrible due to the lack of attention from our waitress, and the lack of flavor, taste, and warmth from the food but at least there restaurant had good...
Read moreA great new breakfast/ lunch restaurant in Alliance. It's bright with a very modern decor. The menu is breakfast heavy with skillets, omelets, pancakes and waffles, French toast, chicken and waffles and steak or chicken fried steak and egg combos. One of the most intriguing offerings is the Biscuit and gravy omelet, with the Biscuit inside the omelet and the gravy on top. We ordered the chicken carnita skillet, a bowl filled with crunchy hash browns, seasoned meat and veggies, cheese, and two perfectly cooked eggs. It was so full of flavor and creaminess and crunchiness your tastebuds may explode. It was served with two mini pancakes. Not to be outdone, the simple cheese omelet was very fluffy and had exactly the right amount of cheese. It was served with creamy grits and an English muffin. It's unusual to forget the most essential part of breakfast and my favorite food, COFFEE. Eggtastic has a great coffee menu. Their regular coffee was bold without any bitterness. They also offer lattes and my new favorite coffee drink, a cappuccino martini. Yes, start your day with a strong sweet creamy, delicious martini. You'll thank me, and ask for the half gallon size ( they don't make it...yet). We'll be back. The lunch side of the menu is full of intriguing dishes. Our great servers Jimina and Bella, and manager John, will be ready. Hope to...
Read moreI cannot recommend this place enough!!! A group of 12 of us went to brunch yesterday. I called the day before and found out they don't take reservations on the weekends so to get there early so they can start getting seating ready for us. We ended up waiting a little longer than we were told, but it was to no fault of the staff!
Our server was Robert and he was an absolute joy to have! He was fast, personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and had a fun energy! We all ordered cocktails and they were delicious! If you enjoy a cappuccino or espresso martini, GET ONE! I ended up ordering two! I'm dreaming about it this morning! I ended up ordering the Avocado Bliss and added chicken carnitas on top and wow!! Literally bliss in every bite! Everyone in our group was so happy with the presentation of food and the taste!
I would recommend getting there a little early and be prepared to wait, especially if it's a weekend. But I'm telling you, it's 100% worth the wait!! I can't wait to go back again! Another employee named John really took care of us as well and gave us a special treat on the house as a token of appreciation for having to wait longer than expected. John was SOOO nice, personable, and professional!
I know this is a lengthy review, but I mean every word. If you decide to go and try it out, take me...
