I really enjoy the wings here every time I go in, but the service has been mediocre or poor 3 out of the last 4 times I've been here. The time I had good service, they were missing wing sauces.
Was sat down quickly enough, but the waitress didn't come to check on us and take a drink order for at least 15 minutes, maybe longer. I finally got up and went to the bar to order a beer while the rest of the table waited for the waitress to take the order. The waitress eventually came and took orders, then didn't come back again for 10-15 minutes. We also had to ask the waitress repeatedly for waters. We got a 2nd round of beers but this time everyone went to the bar because we didn't want to wait on the waitress. They weren't at all busy, although that's not an excuse for awful service either way. We probably should have just got up and left.
Again, slow service once seated. Waitress was non-existent 10 min after being seated. We ordered beers, and it took another 10-15 minutes to receive them. Restaurant was busier, but not packed. The waitress was better than the last, but barely.
Good service this time. We had a bigger party so it understandably took a while to get seated. I got a drink from the bar while we waited to get seated, and it was reasonably quick. No complaints other than they were out of the first two wing sauces I wanted. There are enough wing flavors that I like that I was fine, but just slightly annoying. Restaurant wasn't too busy.
Again, we were seated quickly. The waitress this time was attentive, but once again, drinks took forever to arrive. It had to be 20-25 minutes from ordering drinks before beers got to the table. I would have gone to the bar had I not already ordered. The beers were ordered first, along with an app. The app was brought out quickly, and finished. Then we ordered meals, and asked about beers. Another few minutes passed, and then finally our beers were brought out just a minute or two before the meales arrived. My wings were once again great, but the wait time for drinks was ridiculous. Again, the restaurant was somewhat busy, but not fully packed.
I'll probably give it another try or two because the food is typically solid, but service is borderline awful here for the most part in the last 6 months or so. I don't understand the wait for drinks when ordering from a table. Every time i go to the bar i get a drink with 5 minutes. If the service improves, this place would be a blast, but really 3 stars is probably generous based on recent...
Read moreIf there was an option to give 0 stars I would have rated this Pluckers location exactly that. My family and I decided that we were going to have wings and beer for dinner, unfortunately our family dinner night was ruined! On 1/12/2023 @ 8:30pm a member of our party was asked what they wanted to drink and they chose to order an alcoholic beverage. When asked for proof of identification member of our party happily shared their identification.. MYCAYLA who was our evening server replied "what is that......" in front of everyone at our table. Member of our party provided proof with a Mexican passport with VALID physical description, photograph, and date of birth. Server denied identification and immediately a manger was asked for (mind you this person has used ID at numerous pluckers locations around the DFW area with ZERO COMPLICATIONS). MANDY who was the manager on duty refused to accept identification provided. Once everyone at our table was served their drinks.. Mandy was standing very close to our table watching our every move like we had committed a crime. This went on for 20+ minutes making our experience VERY uncomfortable not only for me but this rest of my family. This is unacceptable customer service and the server MYCAYLA needs to be terminated due to lack of professionalism and serving skill. My family member was left humiliated in a public setting and no longer had an appetite. No where in the Pluckers terms and conditions that is available for public view does it state that in order to purchase an alcoholic beverage you must present a US government issued ID. I will no longer return to this Pluckers location due to discrimination!!!!!!!! This situation is unacceptable I seriously can not believe it. Disappointment was the feeling leaving this business...
Read moreI hate to do this, but I just did not enjoy my visit there Tuesday night. Service was not present that night. One might naturally think it must have been slammed, but the restaurant was dead as could be. Me and friend were one of the few tables there, yet it took approximately 20 to 30 minutes for someone to take out order. When we first seated, they asked us what we wanted to drink around the 5-10 minute mark, then it took another 20 minutes for us to order. We had ordered an appetizer which came out lukewarm, and felt as if it had been under a heat lamp for a little while, as if someone forgot about it, as the cheese was melted anymore, and had begun to cool off again. Me and my friend arrived around 9:40pm, and we left around 11:05pm, which normally I wouldn’t be disgruntled about, but most of that time was just waiting in an empty restaurant. We started to contemplate leaving when it reached 10:30, as we hadn’t received our food, after being seated for nearly an hour, though we decided against it especially since we did finally get the chance to order, and didn’t want to be rude and leave the server with food, as we both have experience in customer service, and food. So that’s why it pains me to have to leave a bad review, I would have understood if it was slammed, and they were running around, I would respect the effort, but when it feels as if they literally did nothing, I believe they came a total of 4-5 times, including the times they seated us and took our orders, I had nearly finished eating when they asked if everything was okay. It was honestly a little ridiculous, as we had plans afterwards that couldn’t happen since it got so late. I wish everyone the best though, and I hope it was just a one time thing. But sadly, I don’t believe I would...
